Alone in the Dark Broken Plate locations

Want to know the Alone in the Dark Broken Plate locations? The remake of the 1992 classic isn’t light on puzzles and a favourite are sliding tile-style puzzles. For these, notably the Astronomical Clock and Boiler puzzles, you’ll need to track down Broken Plates to complete the images.

Broken Plate 1 – Astronomical Clock

The Broken Plate is in the Kitchen Garden on the Ground Floor of Derceto. Use the bolt cutters to unlock the shed and grab the hose pipe. Turn on the water at the tap in the northwest of the garden. Follow the hose to the well, inside of which is a bucket containing the plate piece. Connect the two hoses near the hole to raise the water level then grab the Broken Plate from the bucket.

Broken Plate 2 – Astronomical Clock

This one is found by unlocking the dresser in Perosi’s Room on the second floor of Derceto. You’ll need to figure out the right zodiac sign code to unlock it, which you can do by investigating the paintings and Perosi’s Journal. Broken Plate 3 – Boiler Decorative Plate

This Broken Plate is found in the small back room of the Boiler Room on the Ground Floor of Derceto. It’s only accessible during Chapter 2 after you’ve found the Valve Handle in the Cellar and shut off the steam. Interact with Jeremy then grab the Broken Piece off of the floor where he was sitting once he disappears.

Broken Plate 4 – Boiler Decorative Plate

The second Broken Plate needed to complete the Boiler decorative piece is found in the locked desk in Cassandra’s Room during Chapter 2. Much like the Perosi’s Room puzzle, you’ll need to find the correct zodiac signs to unlock the desk, which involves finding and placing medicine bottles on the tray at the back of the room.
