Where to find the shotgun in Alone in the Dark

The shotgun is found in a cabinet in the Small Parlor on the first floor of Derceto, which is located in the northeast of the manor and next to the Library and Conservatory. Enter the room and look at the wall to the left of the fireplace to find the shotgun cabinet.

How to open the shotgun cabinet in Alone in the Dark

To unlock the shotgun cabinet in Alone in the Dark, you’ll need to complete the Lost Children Lagniappe set. This involves finding the Rubber Stamp, Fountain Pen, and Rubber Stamp. Here’s where to find each one:

• The Rubber Stamp is on the clerk’s counter in the Reception room on the first floor of Derceto. This one is available from Chapter 2 onward.
• The Fountain Pen is sitting on a low table in Batiste’s Room on the second floor of Derceto. You can grab this one from Chapter 2 onward.
• The Dog Collar is below a desk positioned between two big arm chairs in the Drawing Room on the first floor of Derceto. The collectible is available once you’ve completed the Hateful Mound section during Chapter 2.

Once you’ve collected all three Lagniappes, head back to the Small Parlor and you’ll find that the cabinet is unlocked. Simply interact with the shotgun to pick it up.
