To kick off Summer, Epic Games always releases a lot of new content to keep players busy playing Fortnite while they take a much-needed break to unwind and regroup. This year is no exception and it looks like we may be being treated to more content than we ever have during the Summer event as there will be a new Battle Royale mode launching, new weapons, a live event, a highly-anticipated collaboration, and more coming to Fortnite over the next month.

Earlier today, Epic Games announced that a new mini Battle Royale mode called Reload will be coming to Fortnite tomorrow, which will see players drop onto a smaller map with nine POIs including some iconic Chapter 1 locations such as Tilted Towers. This Summer will also see the release of the Chapter 5 Season 3 bonus skin, X-Men’s Magneto, and the start of the highly-anticipated Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 has been an incredibly fun and chaotic season so far, with it bringing a Fallout collaboration and a post-apocalyptic Mad Max-style theme. There is plenty of new content including new POIs, vehicle mods, and many other changes. Fans of competitive Fortnite also have a lot of content to enjoy as the season’s FNCS tournament is currently underway, with Week 2 Open Qualifiers taking place this weekend, where thousands of players will jump in to try and earn their place in the Grand Finals next month to take home their share of millions of dollars as well as earn the Axe of Champions.
