Fortnite leak shows when Pirates of the Caribbean crossover is coming next season

Fortnite fans have a really good new season to anticipate. Epic Games has got fans foaming at the mouth with a few enticing teasers, but one of the most exciting aspects of the upcoming new season is a leaked crossover with Pirates of the Caribbean. This is not confirmed by Epic Games at all, but a leak shows when the Fortnite x Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration is supposedly coming in Season 3.

Epic Games has confirmed exactly when Fortnite Season 3 will start for all regions. As for what to expect, the developer has teased a collaboration with Fallout, and a leak has possibly revealed all of the Chapter 5 Season 3 battle pass skins. In addition, Epic Games has confirmed a huge incoming change to the item shop.

While a crossover with Fallout is exciting enough on its own, the possibility of a collaboration with Pirates of the Caribbean is equally as appealing, if not more. The arrival of Jack Sparrow would be huge, and we possibly know when it will arrive.

When is Pirates of the Caribbean coming to Fortnite?

Epic Games has not confirmed a collaboration with Pirates of the Caribbean for Fortnite, but a leak says it is coming in July as part of Chapter 5 Season 3. This comes courtesy of prominent leaker, Hypex.

On Twitter, Hypex posted that a ‘Pirate Adventure’ map is coming to Rocket Racing. It’s believed that this will most likely accompany “the leaked ‘Fortnite x Pirates of the Caribbean’ Collab this July”.

Again, no collaboration has been confirmed by Epic Games, but there’s been several rumors and leaks pointing to the crossover happening. It wouldn’t be surprising at all as PotC is a huge Disney property, and it has featured in other video games before such as Sea of Thieves.

Provided the collaboration does happen, the number one obvious skin is Captain Jack Sparrow. It’s Johnny Depp’s likeness, yes, but Captain Jack Sparrow has featured in Sea of Thieves along with Kingdom Hearts so that wouldn’t be a problem.

Another skin that would be great is Davey Jones. He has one of the most memorable looks and designs of any villain in movie history. Captain Barbosa would also be a good skin, and maybe Orlando Bloom’s Will Turner and Keira Knightley’s Elizabeth Swan, too.
