Palworld has completely taken over the world since its early access launch on Xbox and PC. Fans have fallen head over heels in love with the survival gameplay coupled with the Pals that resemble pocket monsters from Pokémon. Collecting Pals is an addictive component of the game, and here you will discover how to easily get a secret Legendary Pal in Palworld that cannot be found roaming about in the wild.

There are over one hundred Pals part of the complete Paldeck. The official roadmap promises even more for the future, and a fan has found a secret Pal that massively resembles a Legendary iconic baddie from Pokémon. As mentioned, more Pals will be added in the future, but we unfortunately don’t know exactly when as, for the time being, Pocketpair is focusing on ironing out bugs and stabilizing the game’s performance.

While the Paldeck will be expanded upon throughout the year, there are over one hundred cutesy animals to find right now. They can all be obtained from the wild except for this secret Legendary that can only be gotten through breeding.

How to get secret Legendary Pal in Palworld

A secret Legendary Pal you can get in Palworld is the Frostallion Noct. Rather than capturing through exploring the Overworld, this is a rare subspecies that can only be unlocked through breeding a very specific male and female.

Of course, in order to breed, you first need a Breeding Farm. Provided you have a Breeding Farm ready, the female Pal you need to find and recruit is Helzephyr. This is a Dark element type flying mount that can only be found at night. You can find it by exploring Hypocrite Hill but only at night time.

The male Pal you need for breeding is a Frostallion. This is a lvl 50 Alpha boss that can be located in the Astral Mountains. Check out mapgenie‘s Alpha pals guide for its exact location. Once you have captured the Frostallion and Helzephyr, you need to throw them into your Breeding Farm. Wait for the huge Dark Egg to pop up and then toss it into the Incubator for it to hatch.

This is the only way to get the Frostallion Noct as, again, it cannot be found in the wild. It is a beautiful creature with black fur and wings with glorious purple locks. It is a Dark type instead of Ice like a regular Frostallion, and it comes with a level four gathering skill that makes it one of the best gatherers in the game.
