Is MLB The Show 24 down?
As of midday on March 28, the servers for MLB The Show 24 are once again fine. We tried to log in today at 11:30 and could not log in to our profile, but at about 1:00 pm ET, things were fine. We could access the game at that point, but it took forever to load before saying it couldn’t log in. Down Detector also showed quite a few outage reports, but things are smooth once more. Logging in now has no issues, and we can access the online part of the game!
Following the game’s initial early access launch, many players found themselves having server issues. But the developers were quick to fix things, and since then the server problems have been completely resolved. However, some issues popped back up a few days later.
We wouldn’t be surprised if there are some server issues following the full launch of the game. The sudden influx of players trying to access the servers at the same time will likely cause some issues, and it may take longer to get onto the game than it would otherwise.

How to check MLB The Show 24 server status
Annoyingly, there is no dedicated page on the website of developer Sony San Diego to check if the servers are working or not. Instead, your best bet is to head to the official X page (formerly Twitter) or to join the official Discord server. Both of these will be the first places you’ll get any announcements.
How to fix server issues in MLB The Show 24
If there’s no server outage and you still can’t access the game, there’s a few steps you can take to try and fix the problem yourself. We would recommend following these steps to see if there’s anything you can do:
- Restart your console
- Restart your internet
- Switch to a wired connection if possible
If you’ve tried all of these and it’s still not working, then it’s likely that there is some kind of server problem that simply hasn’t been picked up yet by the developers. Wait 10 minutes or so and try again, or check the social media and Discord once more to see if there’s been any update.
