Fortnite and collaborations go hand in hand, with an endless flow of them in the Item Shop as well as the various different modes players can jump into. But, one collaboration has eluded Fortnite for many years, Five Nights At Freddy’s, and now it looks like after seven years it could be coming to the game.
Prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX has revealed that a Five Nights At Freddy’s collaboration could be coming with the next update, which is set to be released on August 6th.
“It’s *RUMORED* to have a ‘FNAF x Fortnite’ Collab since FNAF announced that they have a “Secret Collab” on that same day”
A Five Nights At Freddy’s collaboration has been one of the most highly requested partnerships since the early days of Fortnite, and many have come to accept that it is never going to happen. But, never say never as we have seen many unexpected collaborations come to the game and a recent survey even asked whether players would be interested in the likes of Pokemon being added.
It will be interesting to see whether this comes to the game when the final update of Season 3 goes live on August 6th. Following this, we can expect Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 to begin on August 17th. This will be another Marvel-themed season, building on the success of Chapter 2 Season 4. As of right now, Epic Games hasn’t officially announced it, but there have been multiple leaks including the full Battle Pass.
Outside of Battle Royale, there is a lot going on as LEGO Fortnite is set to receive a new biome, and there are even more Metallica songs coming to Fortnite Festival ahead of Season 4 ending on August 16th. Following this, we can expect to see Karol G, Snoop Dogg, and NewJeans wrapping up 2024. There will also be plenty of new content coming to the game throughout the rest of the year, with Fortnite OG returning before players head to Chapter 6 in December which will include a brand new map and mechanics such as prone crouching.
