When it comes to NPCs in Fortnite, there perhaps isn’t any more beloved than Klombo. First introduced in Chapter 3 Season 1, Klombo would wander across the map and could be used to be shot up into the sky to send you far across the Fortnite island. Unfortunately, Klombo disappeared from the game at the start of Chapter 3 Season 2, and hasn’t been seen since. Now, after over two years, the dinosaur is set to return to the game.
Fortnite leaker Blortzen revealed that LEGO Fortnite will soon be getting a jungle biome, which will include banana trees, caves, water, and Stink Gas Plants.
They also confirmed that Klombo has been added to the in-game files after a node was found in the game’s code.
“Klombo is coming to LEGO Fortnite. On v30.30 a ButterCake materialFunction got added, and its used on a base function called “Juno_MF_BrickColor”, with a node confirming the name “
There is no news regarding the date that Klombo will be returning, but with Chapter 5 Season 4 on the horizon, that would be a great time for it to return, even if it is in LEGO Fortnite rather than the core Battle Royale modes. But, that doesn’t mean that Klombo won’t return in the future, especially if Fortnite OG ever revisits Chapter 3.
Until then, players have a return to Chapter 2 to look forward to when Fortnite OG comes back later this year. This will follow the upcoming Marvel-themed Season 4 before the start of Chapter 6 in December. Ahead of the start of Season 4, Deadpool and Wolverine have returned to Fortnite to help promote the new movie with new skins, instruments, and other cosmetics.
