How to Get Frosty Soul in Dragonflight World Of Warcraft

Every time a new expansion is added to World of Warcraft, players safely expect to find new loot, craftable items, and crafting material to find, and that’s exactly the case in the first season of Dragonflight, which is WoW’s newest expansion.

One of those new crafting items is the frosty soul, which players will be needing to craft some high level equipment. Naturally, the equipment will also be brand new, having just been introduced in this expansion as well.

However, not everyone might know where to get more frost soul, and that’s where we come in. not only will we tell you where to get it, but we’ll also go through the various equipment you can craft using it.

How to get Frosty Soul

No, instead of being ores or other physical materials, the crafting soul is, well, a soul. Because of this the first thing you need to do is have a way to catch and store the soul since it’ll be coming directly out of a deadly enemy.

Therefore, the two things you’ll need are

• A Zapthrottle Soul Inhaler (Can be either purchased, crafted, or obtained from work orders)
• Empty Soul Cages (Can be purchased or created by a jeweler)

Now that you have all the tools you need, the only thing left to do is to face a frost elemental. There are two places you can do this, with one being harder than the other but also having more potential to come across the enemy you’re looking for.

The first place is The Vault of Incarnates raid, where you have a high chance of coming across elementals. The other place, meanwhile, is The Azure Span at 59, 64, where you can come across an elemental as well.

Capturing a Frosty Soul

Capturing a Frosty Soul isn’t as simple as just taking the enemy out and then looting it. Instead, you have to capture the soul by activating the Zapthrottle Soul Inhaler when the elemental is at low health.

Because the enemy has to be defeated while you’re channeling the soul inhaler, we recommend you first take the enemy down to around 10% health and then use some sort of DoT on the enemy that will take it out while you channel it.

If you’ve done everything as mentioned above, you’ll now have a frosty soul in a previously empty soul cage. All that’s left to do now is to wait for the soul to become docile, after which you can safely do whatever you want with it.

What Can be Crafted Using Frosty Soul

There are a total of four pieces of equipment that can be crafted using frosty souls. They are

• Frostfire Legguards of Preparation 
• Unstable Frostfire Belt 
• Amice of the Blue 
• Blue Dragon Soles

The item level of all these craftable equipment pieces is 350 and has a level requirement of level 70.
