How To Beat Leymor (First Boss)

Before fighting Leymor, you first have to go against some other enemies (Trash). The ones you have to be careful of, however, are the Arcane Tender because of their ability to transform players into saplings and Conjured Lasher because Mystic Vapor, if stacked too high, quickly gets overwhelming. Finally, the Shrieking Whelp, who can pull all the mobs in the area around it.

Boss Fight

During the fight, the most important thing is managing the number of trees and sprouts in the area that spawn because of Leymor’s Leyline Sprout’s ability. Band together with your teammates and use your abilities to destroy them, but be careful of the sprouts as they spawn a Bubbling Sapling when destroyed.

Additionally, there are two other abilities you should keep a lookout for:

Explosive Brand

A simple knockback attack that leaves a circle on everyone in the group. When the circle goes away, every Spout inside of it is destroyed to spawn Bubbling Saplings.

Consuming Stomp

Leybor absorbs energy from all the spots in the area. The more spouts it absorbs the higher the damage of this groupwide damage attack will be.

How To Beat Azureblade (Second Boss)

Before being able to tackle the second boss, you first have to tackle a bunch of environmental hazards and dangerous mobs. Tanks especially should be aware, as many mobs have abilities that specifically target tanks.

Players with inscriptions should also keep a lookout for books, as they allow them to use the environmental hazards against the enemies using the action button. After using the book of translocation to get downstairs, in addition to new mobs, there will also be potential buffs you can take advantage of.

Boss Fight

Add management is as important in this match as tree management was against Leymor. There are two abilities of Azureblade to pay special attention to:

Summon Draconic Image

Azureblade summons a Dragonkin which flies around the room all the while shooting illusionary bolts at players at random. Try to deal with these as soon as they spawn, otherwise, they might cause problems down the line.

Overwhelming Energy

This is the ability that makes this fight drag on. Azureblade runs to the center of the room and spawns four Draconic Images. The boss becomes undamageable until you deal with all four of these images.

In addition, he also spawns five ancient orbs at a time in a pentagon pattern and shoots them toward the edges of the room. You have to dodge all of these as well, as they deal heavy damage.

How To Beat Telash Greywing (Third Boss)

Before you can face the third boss, you first have to face some more mobs. There are two of them you should keep a lookout for. The first is Drakonoid Breakers who can deal major damage using their Bestial Roar, and the second is Nullmagic Hornswog, who can leap towards far away players, making them dangerous for ranged players.

Boss Fight

The most important factor in this fight is placement control and management. Players need to be mindful of where they are at all times, mostly because of two abilities.

Frost Bomb

Frost Bomb is a debuff that is placed on all five players. It drops a patch of ice on the floor, which is indicated by a circle around the party. This circle then continues to grow for the next two minutes.

Absolute Zero

Absolute Zero will cause the boss to teleport to the center of the room and begin a channel. In order to avoid getting damaged, players will have to find a blue bubble called Vault Rune in time.

How To Beat Umbrelskul (Fourth Boss)

While the main mechanic of the previous fight was moving at the right time, it’s the complete opposite when going up against Umbrelskul because of one key ability.

Oppressive Miasma

When using this ability, Umbrelskul emits energy that makes it so anyone who moves gets 7% movement speed debuff for 4 seconds. Now, that in itself wouldn’t be too much of an issue, but this debuff also stacks up to 50%.

Arcane Eruption

Every time Umbrelskil reaches 100 energy, it uses Arcane Eruption, which spawns Crackling Vortexes around the room. These vortexes slowly move toward players that can generate healing aggro, and cause massive damage.

Final Thoughts

All in all, The Azure Vault is an incredible addition to the dungeon roster of WoW, and we can’t wait to see what the following seasons of Dragonflight will bring to us. If you’ve already completed all four new dungeons, then we recommend going for the four returning dungeons next.
