The Tears of the Kingdom Susuyai Shrine is one the first shrines you’ll come across after landing in Hyrule proper. It’s located a stone’s throw from The Legend of Zelda TotK’s Lookout Landing and aims to hone the Ultrahand skills of players with a set of tricky puzzles.

We’ll walk you through how to solve the Tears of the Kingdom Susuyai Shrine. While you’re in the area, it’s worth ticking off the Tears of the Kingdom Nachoyah Shrine and figuring out the Tears of the Kingdom Skyview Tower locations to make getting around Hyrule easier.

Where is the Tears of the Kingdom Susuyai Shrine?

The Tears of the Kingdom Susuyai Shrine, known as ‘A Spinning Device’, is located in the southwest corner of the Passeri Greenbelt in Hyrule Field, Central Hyrule, coordinates -0784,-0432, 0018. Look out for a cluster of ruins and you’ll spot the Shrine’s green glowing bands not far away. It’s a short distance away from where your first drop down from The Great Sky Island.

Tears of the Kingdom Susuyai Shrine solution

Enter the Susuyai Shrine and go forward. Use Ultrahand to stop the middle moving platform, then move it to the side or place it in the path of another of the platforms to stop it. Alternatively, you can hit any of the cart’s wheels, which are Zonai Device motor wheels, to turn all four off and immobilise the cart. Loot the chest for five arrows.

Next, you’ll come to a moving floor in the Tears of the Kingdom Susuyai Shrine. It’s banked and moves towards you, preventing you from progressing up the ramp. To the left is a pile of materials. There are two Zonai motors attached to the platform, while two are detached on the floor. Use Ultrahand to construct a cart similar to the ones you stopped earlier. Alternatively, you can grab one of the carts from the section just before. Place the cart in front of the moving ramp. Make sure the arrows on the motors are facing forward. Climb on and hit one of the wheels to start the motors and ride the cart over the moving floor section.

On the other side of the ramp, you’ll find a crank to the right of a shut gate. Push one of the arms of the crank until the door is fully open. Let go and the gate will shut. Use Recall on the crank, which will reverse the mechanism and open the door, allowing you to go through.

Grab one of the motors on the left using Ultrahand and attach to the hanging platform at the edge of the large gap. You’ll want to position it above the rails and make sure the arrow on the motor is facing forward. Refer to the image below for a better idea of the placing.J ump onto the platform and hit it with a weapon (you don’t specifically need to hit the motor – anywhere will do) to turn on the motor and move the platform to the other side of the gap.
