The Tears of the Kingdom Nachoyah Shrine is the fourth and final Shrine of the tutorial. It will put your recently acquired Recall ability to the test, so it’s a good chance to learn how to use it in The Legend of Zelda TotK on Nintendo Switch.

If you’ve already beaten the Tears of the Kingdom Gutanbac Shrine, then the Tears of the Kingdom Nachoyah Shrine is the last thing between you and a fourth Light of Blessing. Maybe our Tears of the Kingdom how to get more hearts guide will give you a hint on how to use them.

Where is the Nachoyah Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom?

The Tears of the Kingdom Nachoyah Shrine location is at the far south of the Great Sky Island and the Temple of Time. It’s located on a plateau above the cave where Link first wakes up, and can be accessed by using the Tears of the Kingdom Ascend ability from inside the cave. After completing the first three Great Sky Island Shrines (Ukouh Shrine, Gutanbac Shrine, and In-isa Shrine), you’ll be given the option to fast travel to the areas fourth shrine. The coordinates of the Nachoyah Shrine are 0388, -1660, 2299.

Nachoyah Shrine walkthrough

In the first room, you’ll find a river with a current too strong to swim in. Wait for a raft to float past you, and use Recall on the raft. Jump on the raft and let it flow backwards until you can jump onto the ground on the other side of the river.

The next puzzle is essentially identical to the first. Again, wait for a raft to float close enough to you, then use Recall on it and jump on. This time, the raft will bounce a couple of times before flying back up to the top of the waterfall it came down from. Again, once you’re near land, jump off.

In the next room, turn left and you’ll see a large cog and a platform with a treasure chest on it. Use Recall on the cog and jump into a gap in the cog’s teeth, using it as a platform. The cog will turn and bring you closer to the platform, and when you’re right next to it, jump on. Open up the chest to receive 10 arrows.

Now go to the other side of the room, where you’ll see a metal gate with what appear to be two clock hands spinning above it. As the hands spin in opposite directions, you’ll notice that when they overlap, the gate briefly opens, but not for long enough for you to run through. Wait until the hands overlap, and quickly use Recall on one of them to reverse its direction. The two hands will now rotate while overlapping, leaving the gate open for you to walk through.

Walk up to the Shrine and interact with it to complete it and receive your reward of a fourth Blessing of Light.
