Looking for the Tears of the Kingdom Great Fairy Fountain locations? Much like in BotW, Great Fairies return in TotK to offer players a way to enhance and upgrade armour. In The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, finding the Great Fairy Fountains is relatively straightforward as they are located near stables and emit a pink plume of glittery pink smoke, which you can spot far a reasonable distance.

Where things take a turn is the hoop jumping involved just to talk to the Great Fairies, let alone being able to fling hefty sums of rupees their way for armor improvements. To get each of the four Great Fairies to emerge from their flower bud, you’ll need to complete various tasks to bring a group of musicians known as The Stable Trotters back together and guide them to each of the Great Fairies. To help you complete all these side quests, you’ll want to know how to get a horse in Tears of the Kingdom and how to best use the Tears of the Kingdom Ultrahand ability to get around quicker.

Tears of the Kingdom Great Fairy Tera location

  • Quest name: Serenade to a Great Fairy
  • Stable location: Woodland Stable, Pico Pond, Eldin Canyon
  • Coordinates: 1046, 1145, 0022

To start the Serenade to a Great Fairy quest, you’ll need to have triggered the Potential Princess Sightings! quest by chatting with Traysi at the Lucky Clover Gazette, which is across the bridge from Rito Village in Hebra. This involves visiting all the stables across Hyrule. Make a beeline for the Woodland Stable (coordinates above) and talk to Penn and the musicians to start the Serenade to a Great Fairy Quest.

Use Ultrahand to repair the carriage. Equip your horse with a towing harness (obtained in exchange for two Pony Points at any stable) by speaking to the stable clerk at the counter and customising your horse. Link the harness and cart using Ultrahand, then head to the Great Fairy Tera at the Military Training Camp in the hills above the stable.

Gather up 10 Sunset Fireflies, then hand them over to Pyper. You can find fireflies in the forest north of the stable (remember to sneak to not scare them off) and can purchase up to three from Beedle at the stable.

Talk to Haite at the stable and Pyper will put on a show. Talk to Mastro, fix the cart using Ultrahand and the Zonai Devices scattered around. We recommend mounting the cart on top of the large stone slab then grabbing the steering device and placing that on the front of the slab. Return to the troupe, interact with the steering device and head up the hill to the Great Fairy Kaysa.
