Pokemon Scarlet and Violet features the expansive map of Paldea as its setting. But keen-eyed players will notice that a giant crater rests in the center of the region. This is known as Area Zero and is a special area that can only be accessed late into Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
There are a few requisites if you wish to gain entry into Area Zero. To even have the chance to gain entrance to the area you have to follow along Arven’s quest line the “Path of Legends”. You will have to join Arven’s journey to defeating Paldea’s Titan Pokemon.

What To Do Before Entering Area Zero
There will be a total of six Titan Pokemon and defeating each one will gradually unlock some of Koraidon’s/Miraidon’s traveling capabilities. Once you’ve defeated all of the Titan Pokemon, Arven will challenge you to a Pokemon battle. Winning the battle will have you convince Arven to go to Area Zero.

However, he mentions that you will need a couple more people on your team. One powerful enough who possesses Champion Rank-level skills and another that is good with technology who can deal with crazy tech. The two people who fit these descriptions are Nemona and Penny. But in order for them to accompany you to Area Zero, you first have to finish their respective quest lines as well.
How To Get Nemona
To have Nemona join you, you will have to finish the Victory Road sidequest.
This takes up a bulk of the game as the side quest involves beating all eight Paldean Gym Leaders and their corresponding tests. Once that is done, you will have to battle the Elite Four of Paldea and Top Champion Geeta. And finally, at the end of the quest, Nemona will challenge you to a Pokemon Battle. Winning against her will convince her to join you in Area Zero.

How To Get Penny
To have Penny join you, you will have to finish the Starfall Street sidequest.
Starfall Street is involved with fighting Team Star, the local gang of the Paldea region. Team Star is divided into four crews, each with a corresponding captain. You will have to hunt all of them down and fight them.
Upon doing so, you will be challenged by Director Clavell. And eventually, Penny herself. Similar to the other quest lines, defeating Penny will convince her to join you in your journey to Area Zero.
How to Get to Area Zero
After both of these quest lines are finished, you will eventually be called by Arven.
He will say that your deeds and exploits have made you popular in Paldea and you now have the support of the two people that you need to proceed into Area Zero.
To reach Area Zero, you will have to head to the Zero Gate that is located near Medali at the northern portion of Paldea. From Medali, you can head to the Zero Gate to the southeast. Arven, Nemona and Penny will be there waiting for you to begin your descent into Area Zero.
