Which Pokemons Are Best For Tera Raids?

Below is our list of the top pokemon to bring with you on Raids. Some of these pokemon can be obtained pretty easily, but others will take time to acquire.

Koraidon

Koraidon is a fighting/dragon type pokemon, with max stats of 252 HP and 252 Attack. His moves include Screech, Drain Punch, Outrage, and Collision Course.

In Raids, Koraidon’s screech ability is its best asset. Screech will lower your enemies’ defense, making Koraidon’s attacks much more effective. Just beware that the ability does have pretty low accuracy, so you might not be successful every time.

As a fighting type, Koraidon is perfect to take on Dark, Ice, Normal, Rock, and Steel Types. However, it will struggle against Ghost, Poison, Flying, Psychic, Bug, and Fairy types. Make sure to plan accordingly when taking on a raid.

Miraidon

Miraidon is an electric/dragon type pokemon, which is a very powerful combination. It has the same max stats as Koraidon, making it one of the most durable pokemon to bring on a Raid.

Miraidon’s abilities include Metal Sound, Electro Drift, Dragon Pulse, and Thunderbolt. Your best bet is to use Metal Sound, which will cut your opponent’s special defense in half. With great attackers by your side, this can prove to be a deadly combination.

As an electric type, Miraidon is particularly strong against Flying and Water type pokemon. Although, you should probably avoid engaging the following types with Miraidon: Grass, Electric, and Ground types.

Tinkaton

Tinkaton is the only Fairy/Steel type Pokemon on this list. Its max stats are 252 for both HP and attack, putting it on par with other Pokemon on this list.

Tinkaton’s abilities are awesome. Gigaton Hammer is a very strong move and will deal massive damage to your opponent. Play rough is another effective ability, particularly in Tera Raids.

Iron Valient’s Fairy/Fighting hybrid type, coupled with its great ability set, makes it one of the best pokemon to take on dragon raids. Use Soul Break to do loads of damage before your opponents even have a chance to use an ability.

You can bring the best Pokemon in the world with you on Raid Battles, but going solo just might not be enough when it comes to the 5 and 6 Star Raids. As you start to level up and gain the option of taking on the tougher raids, teammates become invaluable assets.
