The Honkai Star Rail 1.3 release date has been confirmed. With the Honkai Star Rail 1.3 release date, some highly-anticipated changes are coming. The new update, which is called Celestial Eyes Above Mortal Ruins, is set to be released on Wednesday, August 30 as revealed by Hoyoverse during a developer livestream showcasing new content coming to the game in version 1.3.

Honkai Star Rail 1.3 release date
Honkai Star Rail 1.3 update will be released on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, according to the official announcement from Hoyoverse during a special live stream program showing off Fu Xuan, Imbibitor Lunae, and some nifty new events coming to the game. The Honkai Star Rail 1.3 release will mark the first banner for Dan Feng, otherwise known as Imbibitor Lunae, a new five-star character.
One of the biggest announcements during the live stream program was the increase in your daily Trailblazer Fuel cap. If you’re familiar with Genshin Impact, this resource is effectively your Resin in Honkai Star Rail that you use to farm Relics, Trace materials, and so on.
After the release of 1.3, there will be a huge update to the Simulated Universe game mode, as well as an event that will reward you with a free copy of Sushang, a four-star Physical DPS character.
Honkai Star Rail 1.3 start time – when does it go live?
Honkai Star Rail 1.3 will go live at 4 am BST on Wednesday, August 30 for those in the UK and 11 pm EDT / 10 pm CDT / 8 pm PDT for those in the US.
If you already play Genshin Impact, you’ll be familiar with the following schedule. In the United Kingdom, Honkai Star Rail’s updates occur on Tuesday evenings, with the update going live around 4 am on a Wednesday.

As usual, with updates for Honkai Star Rail, patch 1.3 can now be pre-installed as of Monday, August 28, 2023. Pre-installation will download the significant files you need for patch 1.3, meaning you won’t need to wait too long to play it on the Honkai Star Rail 1.3 release date. For PC users, the download size for Honkai Star Rail 1.3 is 9.62 GB, but the size required for unzipping the update is 20.51 GB. On mobile, the size is 5664 MB, which is roughly 5.6 GB.
You can pre-download the new update when you fire up the launcher for Honkai Star Rail. When you launch the game, the ‘Resource Pre-Download’ button will be visible in the bottom right corner of the login screen. Select this option to begin the pre-download. If you do this on your PC, you can continue to play Honkai while it downloads.
