HoYoverse has now revealed the Honkai Star Rail release date and fans of the series are itching to get into the latest installment. With the game being available on several different platforms, this is sure to be one of the biggest game launches of the year, especially with the success of Genshin Impact catapulting the developers to new heights.
So in order to help you prepare for its imminent arrival, we’ll be listing down its release date below along with any other relevant information you should know before launch. The game has already amassed a staggering 10 million pre-registrations suggesting there’s plenty of interest from gamers.
When is the release date for Honkai Star Rail?
The release date for Honkai Star Rail will be on April 26, 2023. Upon launch, it will be made available through a variety of different platforms, including iOS and Android mobile devices, the Epic Games Store on PC, and PlayStation.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like the developers plan on releasing it for Xbox any time soon so Microsoft console players may have to find an alternative method of accessing it. Luckily, the ubiquity of smartphones should make it much easier to download and play the game, albeit at a much smaller scale.
How to pre-register for Honkai Star Rail
In order to pre-register for Honkai Star Rail, you’ll simply need to follow the steps we’ve listed below:
- Head to the official Honkai Star Rail website.
- Press on the “Register Now” button found on the left and upper right side of the home page.
- Input your personal email address and press the “Get” button found in the verification code field.
- A code will then be sent to the email you wrote down, which you’ll need to enter at the website.
- Hit the personal information consent checkbox found at the bottom.
- Press submit.
Since the pre-registration period has surpassed the initial goals that were set, players will now be receiving a variety of useful items upon launch. This includes 50,000 Credits, a total of 18 Star Rail Passes, a ‘Trailblazer’ Welcome Avatar, and a 4-star character named Serval. Additionally, two Star Rail Passes and 50,000 Credits will also be provided each time one of the game’s social media accounts reaches 2,500,000 followers.
