Helldivers 2 Terminid Control System Major Order explained

The current Major Order requires finishing operations in the Umlaut Sector on planets Erata Prime, Fenrir III, Meridia, and Turing. Only completed operations count towards the “TCS installation progress” bar. Higher difficulties push the bar forward even more. Succeed and all players will receive 50 Medals. Operations consist of multiple missions and one of them is the new “Activate Terminid Control System” mission. Read on to learn how to complete it.

How to finish the Helldivers 2 ‘Activate Terminid Control System’ mission

Just like other Helldivers 2 missions, this one has a 40-minute timer. But it doesn’t have any secondary objectives. Here’s a step-by-step guide to finishing this mission in Helldivers 2:

  • Activate the main Termicide Tower by pressing the glowing button on the yellow control panel. You’ll find it at the base of the main tower with large exhausts at the top. It’s surrounded by three other towers.
  • Next, activate all three Battery Silos by pressing the buttons on their yellow consoles. These can be done in any order. On easier difficulties, multiple players can tackle multiple Battery Silos at once. Sentries and other defensive stratagems are great in this mission. If armored Chargers are bothering you, consider using the EAT-17 Anti-Tank, Autocannon, or Railgun against them.
  • After activation, a Battery Silo needs to be protected from Terminid attacks as the progress bar is filled. Stop bug breaches and enemies from overwhelming you. Protecting multiple objectives can be hard so be mindful of how many Battery Silos you activate at a time. Fail to protect a Battery Silo and they need to be activated once more, delaying your mission.
  • Once all three Battery Silos are ready, head over to Extraction and you’ll be able to start the Termicide dispersal. Press the button inputs on the console and then you can start the TCS.
  • You can now call in an extraction via the terminal and survive until the Pelican transport arrives. Keep communicating with your allies to ensure that all of you survive.

Remember to finish the entire operation

Single missions will not help you progress in the Major Order. So finish all the missions in an operation whenever possible.

Rewards for activating the Helldivers 2 Terminid Control System

Clear out these missions and operations to make progress in the “TCS installation progress” bar for each of the four Umlaut Sector planets. Fill these four bars and the community will clear the current Major Order, resulting in a reward of 50 Medals for every Helldiver. These can be used to earn new rewards in Warbonds, including the new Cutting Edge one.

That covers how to activate the Helldivers 2 Terminid Control System. Keep your teammates alive by reinforcing and use the best weapons to keep Terminids away from the Battery Silos. For more Helldivers 2 information, check out our tips and tricks as well as our best armor guide.
