Looking for a Diablo 4 Season 2 preload? After a long wait, Blizzard is bringing a second season to Sanctuary, complete with new villains and powerful skills for players.

Players have now begun reporting that they are able to download the content ready for Diablo 4 Season 2. Now we have reached the Diablo 4 Season 2 release date, we can confirm this ourselves as we’ve begun the download process on our PlayStation 5.  

Season of Blood promises Blood Harvest activities and vampire powers that can be activated with the right Diablo 4 vampiric pact armor with Eternity, Divinity, and Ferocity pact types. Expect more Diablo 4 unique items and uber uniques across all classes: Rogue, Necromancer, Sorcerer, Barbarian, and Druid and a bunch of new content in the Diablo 4 battle pass. Expect lengthy download times at launch

The absence of a preload means that players will all start downloading Diablo 4 Season 2 right at the start time. Expect the game’s servers to slow down with the load.

Like every Diablo season, you’ll need to start from level 1 and move up the Diablo 4 World Tier difficulties to unlock more loot and gear. Season of Blood brings plenty of quality-of-life improvements like the following:

• Boosted gold drop rates and faster XP gain after level 50. Here’s how to level up fast in Diablo 4.
• Diablo 4 gems are now a part of the stash, improving inventory management.
• A search bar in your stash to find items with extra stashes in smaller towns.
• No need to farm Diablo 4 renown rewards on multiple realms. All characters now share bonus skill points, paragon points, potion charges, and obol capacity upgrades.
• Reworked damage and resistance values to provide a more enjoyable experience.
