Want to know if there’s a new class in Diablo 4 Season 2? Season of Blood brings plenty of noted improvements from Season of the Malignant. It’s not surprising that players are wondering if there’s a new class coming too.

A new playable class would join Diablo 4’s existing classes: Rogue, Necromancer, Barbarian, Druid, and Sorcerer. Our Diablo 4 build tier list will help you get to demon slaying in Sanctuary. Will a new class be added to Diablo 4 Season 2?

No, there is no additional class coming in Diablo 4 Season 2.  But expect the new Diablo 4 vampire powers to make existing classes gain new mechanics. These require the right Diablo 4 vampiric pact armor to utilize them. These pacts come in three forms: Ferocity, Divinity, and Eternity.

Diablo 4 Erys (played by Gemma Chan from Marvel’s Eternals) teams up with you in your quest to hunt Lord Zir. Players looking for earlier titles’ Paladin and Crusader classes will be disappointed. Some fans were particularly hopeful for the Blood Knight from Diablo Immortal.

Expect new classes to arrive in upcoming paid expansions or DLC. We still don’t have any information on future expansions for Diablo 4. Despite that, there’s a lot to love in Diablo 4 Season 2.

What’s new in Season of Blood

Season of Blood brings a lot of improvements to Diablo 4:

  • Improved gold drop rates and faster XP scaling across World Tier difficulties (up to 40%).
  • Diablo 4 gems are now a part of the stash, improving inventory management.
  • A search bar in your stash to find items with extra stashes in smaller towns.
  • There’s no need to farm Diablo 4 renown rewards on multiple realms. All characters now retain bonus skill points, paragon points, potion charges, and obol capacity upgrades.
  • Updated damage, status effects like overpower damage, and resistance values to provide a more enjoyable experience.
  • Improved chance of getting Diablo 4 unique items and uber uniques.

That covers the probability of a new class in Diablo 4 Season 2. Read up on the best Diablo 4 classes before plunging into Sanctuary once more. Remember that Seasonal characters start from scratch to experience the new seasonal questline and Season Journey.
