In short, no. At the time of writing there are no Jedi Survivor mods publicly available as the game has not released yet. However with the release time only hours away we’re on the edge of our seats for what the gamers will come up with for this latest exploration into the Star Wars-verse.
When we think back to the sort of creativity we saw with Star Wars: Fallen Order we’re almost as excited for the fan creativity as we are for the official release. With that in mind, we’ve made a list of our top five Fallen Order mods with the hopes that we’ll see something similar when gamers get their hands on Jedi Survivor.
Top five Star Wars: Fallen Order mods:
The Mandalorian
The Mandalorian Mod is an excellent example of the classic mod: swapping out the main playable character for another well beloved character. There are many examples of different characters gamers modded Fallen Order to include such as Darth Vader, but we felt The Mandalordian was one of the best executions of this genre of mod that we saw.
AI spawner
The AI spawner is another mod we’re hoping to see versions of with Jedi Survivor. It was an excellent opportunity to train your skills on low stakes opponents and the AI element added an aspect of uncertainty – you never know what you’re going to face next.
Faster Startup and Config Tweaks
This sort of mod is particularly helpful in fixing those issues that leave gamers frustrated. If there are any small problems in Jedi Survivor that gamers start to get frustrated with, we’re hoping that something like the Fallen Order Faster Startup and Config Tweaks will come in and pick up the slack – at least until the developers have a chance to sort out whatever the issue might be.
Better Call Cal
This is another example of tweaking the playable character appearance. We included it because it was such an excellent example of texture alteration and we look forward to seeing that same level of detail and care in the future mods for Jedi Survivor – whatever they end up being!
True New Journey Plus
We included True New Journey Plus as an example of moding the gameplay as a whole, not just a single character or enemy. We look forward to seeing what sort of alterations gamers make to Jedi Survivor as the game follows Cal Kestis through the galaxy. With such a host of planets, characters, and enemies promised there certainly seems enough to spark the imagination!
