Is Jedi Survivor a sequel to Fallen Order?
Yes, Star Wars Jedi Survivor slots in as a direct sequel to Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, picking up Cal Kestis’ adventure roughly five years after the events of the first game. The Empire’s grip on the galaxy has tightened. Cal is caught up in the push-and-pull of a seemingly hopeless crusade to protect the galaxy. While a green Padawan in Fallen Order, Cal has matured into a fully-fledged Jedi Knight with the hopes of the Jedi Order resting heavy on his shoulders.
Though a sequel, Star Wars Jedi Survivor is designed as a standalone experience and there’s no requirement whatsoever to have played Fallen Order to understand the story that unfolds. We do, however, recommend dipping into and completing Fallen Order if you have the chance.
