The Finals Season 5 is less than a week away! There is a lot of anticipation surrounding the upcoming new chapter from Embark, and the developer has already revealed plenty of information about the impending chapter. However, they didn’t deliver more “juicy info” yesterday as promised, and Embark has said they are “sorry” for tricking The Finals fans while promising “much more to give in just a few days”.

The release date for Season 5 is December 12th. Fans who are eligible to sign up can play Season 5 early next week, and, ahead of the chapter’s launch, Embark has detailed new weapons and gadgets, along with the new map and more.

We cannot wait for The Finals Season 5 to arrive, and, following yesterday’s disappointment, fans can expect more content soon.

The Finals dev apologizes for tricking fans

Embark teased “juicy info” for The Finals Season 5 as part of PC Gamer’s PC Gaming Most Wanted Show on December 5th. Unfortunately, Embark did not deliver and has thus apologized to the community.

On Discord, Embark Dusty said, “we are so sorry that we tricked you with the promise of juicy info, and did not deliver”. Dusty explained that “The trick was not intentional, just bad communication between our departments during a pretty hectic time”.

In the same apology, Dusty promised “much more to give in just a few days”. There is the anniversary livestream on Saturday celebrating the game’s one-year birthday, meanwhile, Embark is hosting a preview event on Monday “that will offer you a glimpse of real gameplay from your favorite creators”. In addition, Embark are sill polishing the “actual trailer for Season 5”.

The disappointment from fans is understandable, but the apology is genuine and mistakes happen. The anniversary livestream is scheduled for December 7th at 8AM PT/11AM ET/4PM GMT, and fans will be able to watch it live on Twitch.
