We only have one more week to wait until The Finals Season 5 arrives. S4 has been an excellent return to form off the back of a very mid S3, and fans are naturally very excited for what Embark is bringing to the table next. While it is officially launching next week, The Finals Season 5 is available to play early for fans who are eligible to sign up.
The release date for Season 5 is December 12th, and this is also when the game is launching on PS4 consoles. Embark has just shared the update 4.10.0 patch notes, and this has announced an anniversary livestream to celebrate The Finals’ one-year birthday. In addition to this livestream, Embark is also revealing more news about S5 today, and it’s “juicy info” that fans “don’t want to miss”.
We will all get to enjoy The Finals Season 5 next week, but you can play a few days early if you meet the requirements of Embark’s application.
How to play The Finals Season 5 early
The Finals Season 5 is available to play early on December 9th starting at 9AM PT/12PM ET/5PM GMT. You can sign up for the opportunity to participate in the preview event by filling in Embark’s application.
However, there are a few requirements. You will need to play on PC as the preview event is PC only. In addition, you also need either a Twitch or YouTube channel to participate.
Provided you meet these requirements, all you need to do is select “Yes, please!” under the question asking if you are interested in attending the Season 5 preview event. You must then enter either your YouTube or Twitch channel and provide your email address so you can be contacted by Embark.
Lastly, the application form asks if you wish to be part of The Finals’ content creator program. You can choose not to be considered for the program, so it’s not mandatory to be invited to the preview.
If you are lucky enough to receive an invite, Embark states there “there will be no embargo”. So, if you’re invited, you will be “welcomed and encouraged to livestream or record gameplay for videos”.
