Summer Game Fest 2023, the biggest midyear gaming event, will be going live soon and the start time for the opening showcase has now been confirmed by Geoff Keighley. With several highly anticipated titles set to be revealed during the livestream, the excitement surrounding it is becoming palpable as players and professionals alike are gearing up for announcements that’ll shape the rest of the year’s release calendar.
Some of the game’s that’ll likely be shown throughout its duration include the first gameplay from Mortal Kombat 1, additional details on the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 start time, and a closer look at the magical FPS, Immortals of Aveum. SGF 2023 will then be followed by a slew of other events in the following days including the Xbox Games Showcase and the Capcom Showcase, meaning gamers are in for a ton of treats this June.
