The imminent arrival of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 has fans hyped for its release and the reveal of the battle pass skins included with the next update has only made people more excited. Aside from the inclusion of a safari-themed Meowscles variant and the addition of Mariposa and Relik outfits, the leader of the Autobots himself, Optimus Prime, is set to blast his way into the game as well.

Upon Epic Games’ reveal of these latest cosmetic sets, most fan reactions predictably centered on the towering sentient mech since this themed-skin will most likely contain a few other unique features. Some are speculating that it will give you the ability to transform into Optimus’ classic red, blue, and silver Peterbilt truck that you can then use to traverse the Fortnite map.

Alternatively, the ability to transform into a vehicle could instead be added into the game as a new type of item that will allow all players to make use of it as opposed to just the owners of the skin. Of course, this is still merely speculation for the time being, but it does seem to be a likely outcome since most themed costumes from past seasons have similarly had the character’s inherent traits integrated into the game.

With the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 start time steadily inching closer, you’ll only need to wait a few more hours until you can get these new cosmetics yourself. Even though it’s currently unclear what tiers you’ll need to reach in order to get these outfits, it’s safe to say that the highly sought-after Optimus Prime skin will likely be locked behind the latter portions of the battle pass.

Of course, these won’t be the only iconic skins you’ll be able to get your hands on through the battle pass as Epic Games is set to give you more options much like how it was in past updates. This includes Era, Trace, Rian, and Lorenzo outfits that Epic Games had similarly revealed in a previous Twitter post.
