Much like any other ARPG, the critically acclaimed Diablo 4 gives you the opportunity to slay demon hordes with your friends. However, it seems that one player has decided to take the war for Sanctuary even further after somehow spawning a massive NPC army that should be enough to take down Lilith herself along with all three Prime Evils.

With this hilarious glitch in your corner, you won’t even need to make use of your best Rogue build to finish the campaign. You can just sit back and watch your clone army do all the dirty work for you while the Daughter of Hatred stares in disbelief. But, alas, it seems that this bug can’t be recreated voluntarily as the player that came across it doesn’t exactly know how it happened themselves.

According to a Reddit post created by u/Ok-Establishment94, the problem occurred as they were simply venturing through Hawezar while attempting to accomplish the Remnants of Faith side quest. For those unfamiliar, this non-essential mission tasks you with accompanying an NPC named Tomyris to the Maugan’s Works dungeon in order to retrieve a specific piece of gear.

However, it seems that at some point in the post creator’s trek through the swamplands of Hawezar, Tomyris suddenly decides to spawn mirror images of herself to help in their mission. The scenes that would follow became even more absurd because as soon as the player’s character mounted a horse, the entire NPC army brought out their own steeds as well that made it seem as if the Rohirrim from The Lord of the Rings had arrived.

One commenter ended up telling the post’s author not to complete the side quest so they can “roll into end game with an army.” Another responder, on the other hand, shared their own experience with this bug where they apparently “started with 3” clones that quickly turned into 15 soon after.

If you want to try this glitch out for yourself, though, then you may need to do so soon as Blizzard could already be in the process of introducing a fix for this issue. But if you aren’t interested in taking down Lilith with a Tomyris army, then check out our guides on how to get a mount and how to get Whispering Keys in Diablo 4 instead so you can keep yourself busy before the ultimate battle.
