Looking to complete the Diablo 4 Fury Against Fate quest? The quest itself isn’t a walk in the park, and that’s before you even factor in a potential bug halting your progress.

Get your Diablo 4 map ready and prepare yourself to potentially clear any Diablo 4 events that might show up, because we’re going to take you through the Fury Against Fate quest, as well as telling you how to fix the Fury Against Fate bug.

How to complete the Fury Against Fate quest in Diablo 4

Before you can start the Fury Against Fate quest, you need to complete the previous two quests in the questline. These are the Consumed by Pride and Raising Spears quests. All three quests are started in the same location, by speaking to Ealda at the Crane Tribe settlement in the Untamed Scarps region.

Once you’ve completed the first two quests, return to Ealda and talk to her to begin the Fury Against Fate quest. You’ll then be directed to meet this side quest NPC again at the Wasting Hollow Dungeon to the southeast. Head there and speak with Ealda again to begin a charge with the rest of her tribe. In the dungeon, you’ll now come up against a Barricade with some enemies behind it. Defeat them all and return to Ealda to give her the all clear.

After this, the two of you will be ambushed by a new set of enemies. Kill them all to receive a reward of a Gem Cache and talk to Ealda to finish the quest. Meet Ealda after facing the cannibal incursion in combat and you’ll get XP and Dry Steppes renown.

Fury Against Fate bug fix

If you’re unlucky, you might come across a bug or glitch where speaking to Ealda before engaging the first set of enemies does nothing. Ealda and her troops are supposed to charge into the dungeon with you, but if they don’t there are potential solutions you can try. Here’s what you need to do for a Fury Against Fate bug fix.

Ealda’s troops can get stuck outside the cave if there is an event. Exit through the front of the cave and clear any event if there is one and head back inside to see if this works. Alternatively, try the next method. If you can’t see any event outside, you might be able to fix it by reloading your game. Leave the dungeon, quit the game and log back in, and then re-enter the dungeon. This should reset Ealda and her troops, allowing you to continue with the quest. These potential fixes have worked for most players.

That’s everything you need to know about how to complete the Diablo 4 Fury Against Fate quest. If you’re looking to test your skills, why not give Diablo 4 PvP a try? And if you’re upgrading your gear, make sure you know how Diablo 4 gems can really buff your gear.
