The RTX 4070 Ti has now been officially released, and the products can be purchased from Amazon and Newegg. As we’ve seen with previous GPU launches, there has been a slight lack of stock at the same time as slightly inflated prices. If you’re looking for RTX 4070 Ti stock, we’d recommend being cautious of products being sold at prices closer to the RTX 4090 MSRP, which we’ve spotted on a few retail sites. RTX 4070 Ti release date
UPDATE: Following the Nvidia CES presentation – we now have confirmation that the RTX 4070 Ti will be released on January 5th.
This is in-line with out predictions which had the GPU pinned for that exact date – which is only a few weeks after the release of the RTX 4080. Alongside that, we’ve also had confirmation that the RTX 40-series gaming laptops have been announced with releases coming as early as February 8th.

RTX 4070 Ti release time predictions
Based on previous hardware releases including the RTX 4080 & RTX 4090, we can speculate that the RTX 4070 Ti will be released at the following time:
2PM BST/ 3PM CEST/ 6:30PM IST/ 9AM EDT/ 8AM CDT/ 6AM PDT.
This is only a prediction, however, we can advise that this is generally the expected time for hardware releases across the globe.

RTX 4070 Ti specs
Update: Following the Nvidia CES Showcase, we’ve seen a few of the first confirmed specs for the RTX 4070 Ti.
As seen above, there’s confirmation of 40 Shader TFLOPS, 93 RT TFLOPS, and 641 Tensor TFLOPS.
This makes the RTX 4070 Ti faster than the RTX 3090 Ti – which is a huge comparison to make as the 3090 Ti is a graphics card capable of going up against the RTX 4080.
We’ve already seen the RTX 4080 12GB specs as they were officially announced by Nvidia, and there are some notable differences between the 4080 16GB and 12GB. This heralded publish backlash against Nvidia, who did the right thing and cancelled the card due to the differences. The initial issue spanned from the RTX 4080 16GB being much more powerful than the 12GB, and the 12GB paling in benchmark comparisons despite a similar price range. This has ultimately led to circulating rumours that the RTX 4080 12GB has been rebranded as the RTX 4070 Ti, however this isn’t quite confirmed by Nvidia.
So, if the rumours do end up holding some weight, and the the RTX 4080 12GB was rebranded as the RTX 4070 Ti, which could see a much cheaper price than the extortionate RTX 4080. If Nvidia decide to keep things the same, we could see the RTX 4070 Ti with the following specs:

RTX 4070 Ti design rumours
A recent report by Videocardz has shared ‘leaked images’ of the cards themselves which also give some insight into their specs.
If the pictures are not fake, they will have a triple fan cooler, dual 8-pin to 16-pin adapter, and is white in colour.
We’ll have to wait to see if these are the real thing, but fingers crossed!
RTX 4070 Ti price confirmed
Following on from the Nvidia CES showcase – the RTX 4070 Ti has now been confirmed to cost $799. This is once again similar to the earlier predictions that we made, and encourages the graphics card to be purchased due to the huge price difference between the RTX 4080 and itself.
After the unlaunch of the RTX 4080 12GB, there was much speculation that the withdrawn graphics cards would be repurposed as RTX 4070 Tis. Whilst Nvidia haven’t officially confirmed that this is the case, we can use the RTX 4080 12GB’s $899 price and compare it against the RTX 4070 Ti’s now confirmed price of $799.
With a nearly $100 difference, you can be sure that you’re saving a healthy amount of money in return for performance.
