UPDATE: The RX 7900 XTX has now unofficially launched in the US and retailers Best Buy and Amazon are listing the card!

With the launch date today – consumers might be wondering where to buy the RX 7900 XTX in preparation for what could be the most highly anticipated GPU launch this year.

While the RX 7900 XT will be the slightly cheaper option of the two, the RX 7900 XTX is the leading graphics card in this Radeon release. And so, with the crown on its head, it’s likely to garner plenty of attraction from those fed up with Nvidia’s pricing structure.

With the RTX 4090 costing upwards of $1,599 and the RTX 4080 costing $1,199, the RX 7900 XTX is poised to act as the Nvidia’s only opposition. Costing $999, it’s likely that we’ll see it take on the RTX 4080 rather than the flagship card, though for the $200 difference, it’s already a step ahead in the competition.

The consumer friendly pricing of the RDNA 3 GPUs might have already had an effect on the RTX 4080’s sales as consumers are finally refusing to allow Nvidia’s price gouging to continue, and sales have begun to dwindle for the card. With this in mind, it’s likely that the RX 7900 XTX could see an explosive release.
