With the release of a major graphics card such as Nvidia’s latest Lovelace product, the RTX 4070 Ti, we’re excited to see what editions are heading our way.

With the RTX 4070 Ti now released, though before we get you covered with the best information on where to buy the RTX 4070 Ti and where to find stock, let’s take a look at what we know so far about the card’s editions.

Interestingly since the RTX 4070 Ti seemingly has no Founders Edition cards for this particular model, as reported by The Hardware Times, it looks like our options will be ‘limited’ to the AIB editions themselves.

RTX 4070 Ti Editions – what do we know so far?

We’ve seen multiple editions listed at various retailers, and we’re expecting to see more in the near future.

Below you can find the ones we’ve found so far, but keep an eye open for more, especially when the 4070 Ti cards go live officially.

Typically, AIB cards tend to be more expensive than founders’ editions and that does appear to be reflected in the listed price on Best Buy. At CES 2023, it was announced that the 4070 Ti would have an MSRP of $799.99. Compare this to the listed price of MSI and ASUS offerings, which are between $839.99 – $899.99 at the time of writing and you can see the pattern appears to remain the same this time around.

So what are PNY, ASUS and MSI offering with their 4070 Ti GPUs? Let’s take a look at some features and specs that stood out to us from their listings.

One of the key differences between AIB cards is their cooling systems. The MSI Ventus card for example has 3 x TORX 4.0 fans. These use two blades in combination per fan, one traditional and one specifically for air dispersion. This increases cooling. On top of that the blades are self-lubricating which improves the fans life span.

Meanwhile, the ASUS has its own fan technology and pairs this with a well-ventilated design, while also coming with powerful overclocking racking up 2730 MHz, compared to 2610 MHz featured on the reference card.

PNY likewise has a sophisticated approach to cooling with 3 x fans all of which are double ball bearing. When compared with traditional 90mm fans, these offer 40% more airflow and 55% increase in air pressure.

One of the stand out features also comes from this card. It features their PNY’s VelocityX Overclocking Software. This program allows you to monitor important like clock speeds, core temperature fan speed and much more. This can provide invaluable information for how your card is running, allowing you to tweek your settings in order to get the most performance from your RTX 4070 Ti.

Another way an AIB card can stand out from the crowd is of course in appearance. You can check out the exact look of each card by following our links above. Personally, we think the MSI’s Gaming X Trio card stands out the most, with bold dynamic lines complimented with well placed and colourful lights.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are AIB RTX 4070 Ti GPUs more expensive?

All AIB cards are generally inflated above the MSRP due to the additional manufacturing costs, though these generally also result in increased performance and output. This means that even though you will be paying slightly more than the recommended price, you’ll also be netting a better value product.

Will there be more RTX 4070 Ti editions released?

At the moment, we’re only seeing a few products listed online as the release date hasn’t approached yet. Though, we expect other large Nvidia partners such as Gigabyte and ZOTAC to list their products in the run up to the launch, so yes, we will see more RTX 4070 Ti editions in the near future.
