Arrowhead has a lot of plans for the future of Helldivers 2. Right now the game is in the process of constructing the democracy space station, and it’s believed this will lead to the leaked clan system of Platoons. While this remains to be seen, other Helldivers 2 leaks have possibly unearthed a new upcoming Warbond as well as a new wildlife faction described as “dangerous” and “adorable”.
As for what we know is officially coming, Arrowhead has hyped buffs for the jump pack and purifier as part of their next patch. It’s also now official that the Democracy Space Station is being constructed in Gaellivar thanks to the community’s liberation efforts.
There are a multitude of leaked content that is still yet to arrive in Helldivers 2. There’s the clan system, there’s leaked gameplay of vehicles, and now there’s leaks for a new Warbond and wildlife faction.
Helldivers 2 leak reveals new “Primal Warbond” armor and wildlife faction
Helldivers 2 YouTuber, Thordan, has a lot of good and insightful videos covering recent and more ancient leaks for HD2. In one of their newest videos, they have shared leaks that have possibly revealed a new “Primal Warbond” as well as a new wildlife faction for which in-game dialogue exists.
Starting with the Warbond, a screenshot of a “Primal Warbond” armor in-development has been shared on the HelldiversLeaks Discord. It is a hunter-themed outfit with teeth hanging around the neck, and it looks pretty cool. You can see the screenshot at 1:52.
As for the widlife faction, there is a reference to the following faction types found in the game files:
- FactionType_SuperEarth
- FactionType_Bugs
- FactionType_Cyborg
- FactionType_Illuminate
- FactionType_Wildlife
It’s believed that this will be a new enemy faction, but there’s also the possibility it could be a neutral faction which attacks both players and other factions. In addition to references in the game files, there’s also discovered voice lines from helldivers that say “dangerous” and “adorable” wildlife found.
This suggests there could be an influx of different wildlife with some cute and harmless, and others dangerous and a threat to players. Although not leaked, Thordan reckons that the Primal Warbond could release in conjunction with this new wildlife faction.
The leaked cowboy/hunter-esque warbond isn’t official, nor is the arrival of a wildlife faction. Although there is material discovered for each of these components, there’s always the possibility they are concepts that will never see the light of day.
