Helldivers 2 has a lot in store for the future. Arrowhead has been hyping buffs for the next patch, meanwhile, a democracy space station is being constructed and fans are anticipating the long-awaited arrival of the Illuminate. While all of this is great, there are also exciting gameplay leaks that exist for a new feature that could “possibly” be getting added to Helldivers 2.
The Democracy Space Station is being constructed in Gaellivar. Although nothing is official, it’s speculated that this DSS will act as a space station hub for players to interact, and it could also be the gateway to the clan system that was leaked awhile ago. In addition, for the next patch, fans are hopeful Arrowhead will buff a weapon that received a “very bad” nerf.
While the Democracy Space Station is an enigma officially getting constructed, there is other leaked material fans have been anticipating for a long time. There’s no ETA for when the feature will arrive, but vehicles have leaked in the past.
Helldivers 2 is “possibly” getting vehicles
On the Helldivers Discord, community manager, Twinbeard, was asked if Arrowhead are planning to add driveable vehicles to the game. Twinbeard simply stated “possibly”.
This doesn’t confirm vehicles will be added to HD2, but there are exciting leaks that already exist for the requested feature. None of these are recent as they date back a few months ago, but nothing new has materialized since.
As for what has leaked so far, there are two vehicles as per Gamesradar: “An armored buggy vehicle with seats for all four Helldivers and a machine gunner position, as well as a six-wheeled vehicle with a couple of gunner positions that seems much more like the original M5 APC”.

It’s still not official that we are getting vehicles in HD2, but it wouldn’t be surprised based off these gameplay leaks as well as the fact the original Helldivers had vehicles. Assuming it does get added, there’s no ETA for when they will arrive, but hopefully it happens before the end of the year.
