Helldivers 2 fans are happy once more thanks to Arrowhead’s brilliant new update. It’s a massive patch full of buffs, and it has brought back a lot of players to the battlefield fighting for democracy against the enemy. Fortunately, it’s not the end of weapon revamps as the Helldivers 2 CCO has teased an exciting buff for the “next patch,” much to the delight of fans.
The update 01.001.100 patch notes are readily available to scroll through to see all of the buffs recently implemented by Arrowhead, and today sees the release of The Chemical Agents Warbond. Steam reviews have moved from ‘mixed’ to ‘highly positive,’ and the player count has more than doubled, which is a reflection of how delighted the community is right now with the state of HD2.
Fortunately, more updates are planned, and, even though we don’t know when the next patch will come out, the Helldivers 2 CCO has already teased another buff.
Helldivers 2 CCO teases buff for Jump Pack
On X, Helldivers 2 CCO, Pilestedt, recently discussed the aftermath of the major update that released earlier this week. Some of the discussions included the discovery of a bug where the personal shield generator does not take damage from melee attacks.
In regard to the future, the CCO was asked, “Is there any plans on buffing jump pack cooldown next patch? Or is it off the table?”. Pilestedt simply responded, “We are looking at the jump pack next patch”. This response accompanied by the sly winking face emoji.
Unfortunately, we don’t know when the next patch will arrive, but at least we know about a buff that will likely be included. There’s no specifics as to what will be buffed, but just the idea of buffing the Jump Pack has the community excited.
Reacting to the tease on Reddit, fans unanimously appear delighted with the Jump Pack receiving a buff. There are replies such as, “There is a God. And gotta say I didn’t expect him to be Swedish,” as well as, “We’re so back”.
As for what fans would like to see from the buff, there are suggestions such as being able to aim while airborne, and reducing the cooldown and increasing the recharge speed. Again, there’s no hint as to what exactly will be buffed from the CCO, but it will presumably be massive to continue Arrowhead’s momentum.
