Following the latest Major Order to protect Gaellivar, construction of the Democracy Space Station has begun. As the new structure starts its construction, players are banding together to protect the new vessel from harm.
Helldivers 2 players protect DSS
After liberating Gaellivar from the scourge of the Automatons, Super Earth has officially started construction on the new DSS space station. Players can now see the massive orbital vessel from their Super Destroyers in the system or via a screen if they’re elsewhere in the galaxy.
The exact purpose of the DSS isn’t officially known. However, leaks claim the new structure will be tied to a new Clans/Guild system. On the other hand, it could be tied to some powerful new stratagems to rain hell from above.

Whatever the case, fans are hyped for the new Space Station. After the new Chemical Warbonds update finally buffed some of the game’s best weapons, and stealth nerfed others, players are more ready than ever to protect the station from harm.
Don’t let anything happen to the DSS
As soon as the DSS made its glorious debut in Helldivers 2, fans immediately called on others to protect the structure from any threat that may appear.
“Defend this with your life, Divers,” one PSA begs on Reddit. “I finished a mission right when it hit 100%, decided to retravel and was blown away. This really is going to be huge.”
After failing Major Orders in the past and losing out on new stratagems as a result, players are rabid in their will to protect the new Space Station.
While it’s not known exactly what the benefit of the Helldivers 2 DSS will be, players want to make sure they actually get their game-changing reward.
