Epic Games has been making major changes to Fortnite over the past few months, with the addition of LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival, as well as changes to the main gameplay including weapon modifications. It doesn’t feel like we’re playing the same game that we were playing just one year ago. And it looks like even more changes are coming in Chapter 5 Season 3, including a much-needed change to the Item Shop that is going to make it easier for players to access and purchase their favorite cosmetics.

Prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX has revealed that Epic Games is planning on adding the Item Shop to the Fortnite website, allowing players to see what is available each day without having to log into the game.

HYPEX also noted that “It seems to support Buying & Refunding stuff directly from the website, and potentially “Video Previews” for the items. All of this has been in the works for a while but recently they started setting it up for the website.” This will be great for players that are away from their console or PC, such as while being on vacation, but still want to be able to purchase a new cosmetic in the Item Shop.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 is looking to be one of the most exciting seasons in quite some time, with it kicking off with a collaboration with Fallout, which comes following the hit TV show and next-gen update for Fallout 4. There will also be major changes to Fortnite Festival as Pro Lead and Bass tracks will be coming to controller and PC, allowing for more accessibility and giving players a chance to play the more accurate charts without needing to purchase an expensive guitar controller, such as the Riffmaster which is currently out of stock and being scalped for 3x the RRP online.

There will also be plenty of changes to the Fortnite map and loot pool, as well as a brand new Battle Pass to unlock when Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 kicks off on May 24th at 2 AM EST.
