Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 is right around the corner and fans are speculating as to what could be coming to the game in the new season, and we know there will be some massive changes made to the game at the start of the season. One of the aspects of Fortnite that players are eager to learn about is the loot pool, which can make or break a season, and a recent survey could give some insight into what to expect.

In a post on X, HYPEX revealed that Epic Games had added the Impulse Grenade, Crash Pad, and Bounder to its Loot Pool Survey ahead of Chapter 5 Season 3 saying,

“Either they were planning to re-add them today as a content update, or in Season 3, or maybe it was a mistake.. but it seems a bit too specific to add 3 Mobility Items into the Survey.”

In the current Chapter 5 Season 2, there are very few mobility options in the game, with just the Shockwave Grenades and new Wings of Icarus as well as the usual vehicles. With the map being as large as it is, having mobility options is crucial for getting around fast. Fortnite tends to go through this cycle which dates back years of the game having too many mobility options, causing combat to become too frequent and fast-paced, this causes Epic Games to remove a lot of mobility which has the opposite effect, and then the cycle repeats. There has rarely been a time in the game where mobility is just right.

With Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 around the corner, there is a lot to look forward to, including an upcoming live event revolving around the Gods featured in this season. Fortnite Festival is currently in Season 3 with Billie Eilish as the featured artist, and the likes of Avenged Sevenfold and Twenty One Pilots are set to come to the mode this week. Players can also still unlock many of the Star Wars items in modes such as Rocket Racing and LEGO Fortnite that came to the game as part of the yearly May 4th collaboration.
