Dragon’s Dogma 2 looks set to be a blast. We waited several years for the game to even be announced, but now the release date is finally here. So you know exactly when you can begin your adventure, here is the release date and time countdown for when Dragon’s Dogma 2 will come out in PT, ET, and UK GMT on PS5, PC, and Xbox.
If you wish to play as soon as possible, you can get early access through the New Zealand trick. This will allow you to play one day before the official launch. You can also download the free character creator demo right now to create your Arisen and main pawn. Everything about the game looks superb and it could be a real strong contender for Game of the Year. It’s been an agonizing wait for fans over several years, but now the Dragon’s Dogma 2 release date and time countdown is almost over.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 release date
The release date for Dragon’s Dogma 2 is March 22nd. This applies to PS5, Xbox, and PC. Unfortunately, the game is current-gen only, which means it is not coming to last-gen consoles, PS4 and Xbox One.
Make sure to pre-order the game right now so you can preload ahead of its launch. The game is available to preload right now on Xbox, meanwhile, it will be available to download on PS5 starting March 20th. Alas, we do not yet know if the game will be available to preload on Steam.
To help you start playing as soon as possible, it’s again worth downloading the character creator demo so you can transfer your Arisen and main pawn over to the full game. This will allow you to immediately venture into the open-world once the game unlocks on Friday.
When does Dragon’s Dogma 2 come out?
The release time for when Dragon’s Dogma 2 will come out is 5 PM PT/ 8 PM ET on March 21st, and 12 AM GMT on March 22nd. All of these launch hours apply to PC Steam, and they come courtesy of an official global release map shared by Capcom on the DragonsDogma Twitter account.
As for PS5 and Xbox, the Dragon’s Dogma 2 release time is 9 PM PT on March 21st, and 12 AM ET/ 12 AM GMT on March 22nd. Because it is a local midnight launch on console, Xbox players will be able to execute the New Zealand trick to play even earlier than PC users on March 21st.

Unfortunately, it is currently unknown if the game will be playable via Steam Deck.
