The Tears of the Kingdom Gerudo Secret Club makes a return from The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild. And just like last time, the way to enter this secret Gerudo shop is far from obvious. That’s why we’ve got a guide to help you out.

If you’re constantly cooking Tears of the Kingdom recipes to cool down in the desert, there’s some items in the Gerudo secret shop you’ll be interested in, as well as some items to make navigating certain parts of the Tears of the Kingdom map much easier. Otherwise, check out all the Tears of the Kingdom Skyview Tower locations.

How to find the Gerudo Secret Club

The Gerudo Secret Club is a shop in Gerudo Town. In the Gerudo Town emergency shelter, you’ll come across some of the Gerudo mentioning a Gerudo called Perda and her child Aaqlet returning to town.

Talking to the women in the shelter, and to Aaqlet, will reveal that Perda is rarely in the shelter because she’s working in the Gerudo Secret Club. You’ll find Aaqlet in the western corner of the shelter, where she has drawn a map of Gerudo Town, illustrating the location of the Gerudo Secret Club. Armed with this, head out of the shelter and walk to the middle of the town.

On the east side of the market, there are two paths. Take the southern path which leads under an archway, and you’ll enter an alleyway with a house on the right and a locked door on the left further along. There may be Gibdos around here, so be careful and take out any that you happen to come across.

Walk up to the door and interact with it to hear two people inside talking about hiding from the Gibdos. Now, climb up the wall of the building, and you’ll see another person on top, talking about how they also hear voices coming from inside.

Climb down on the other side into another alley. On the far west of the alley, you’ll see a hole in the ground near the sand seal rental. Jump down and you’ll land in a waterway in a cave-like tunnel system. There will be a rock wall made of breakable rocks blocking your path down here, so make sure you have a weapon that can destroy it or an explosive item like bomb flowers. Take the first left, and at the next junction, take another left. Climb up the wall here and take one more left.

Here, you’ll find some ruined stone columns on either side of the tunnel. Walk into the middle of them, right underneath the hidden shop, and use Ascend. When you pop out on the other side, you’ll be inside the Gerudo Secret Club shop, spooking the two women inside.

Chat with the shopowner Greta who will tell you that the Gerudo Secret Club is there to sell banned armor to Voe (men). Once you’re done talking, they’ll tell you that they’ll keep the main entrance of the Gerudo Secret Club unlocked so that you can come and go as you please in future.

What does the Gerudo Secret Club shop sell?

The Gerudo Secret Club shop sells five different items:

  • Desert Voe Spaulder – 1,300 rupees
  • Desert Voe Trousers – 650 rupees
  • Snow Boots – 1,300 rupees
  • Sand Boots – 1,200 rupees

The Gerudo Secret Club shop sells four different items of armor. The first two make up the Desert Voe set. Both of these pieces provide the Heat Resistance buff to Link, which makes him able to withstand higher temperatures. If you’re planning on exploring the Gerudo Desert, having at least one, if not both, of these items is a must.

The other two items they sell are the Sand Boots and the Snow Boots. You might have noticed that Link’s run speed is reduced while running on sandy or snowy surfaces. By wearing a pair of these boots on the corresponding surface, Link is able to get the traction to run properly, making them incredibly useful when exploring the Gerudo and Hebra regions.

Alex’s Advice

Having the Sand Boots and Snow Boots is great for exploring the Gerudo region, as it will let you traverse both the Gerudo Desert and Gerudo Highlands with ease, so get them both!

As for the final piece of the Desert Voe set, the Desert Voe Headband, the only way to obtain this is to buy it in one of the shops at Kara Kara Bazaar, the oasis north of Gerudo Town.
