Tears of the Kingdom Hestu’s first location – Lindor’s Brow, Hyrule Ridge

You’ll first find Hestu southeast of the Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower in Hyrule Ridge, which is west of Lookout Landing and northwest of the New Serenne Stable, coordinates -1680, 1115, 0208. If you head west out of Lookout Landing, and follow the main road west, you’ll reach the New Serenne Stable and then the Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower. Hestu is stationed in the hills between those two landmarks.

Talk to Hestu to trigger the Hestu’s Concerns side adventure, which involves fighting two sentient trees a short distance away. After dealing with them, chat with Hestu, who will reveal he needs Korok seeds for his maracas. Hand over a seed and you’ll be given the option to expand your weapon, bow, or shield inventory by one pouch slot. This completes the Hestu’s Concerns side quest.

Hestu mentions that he’s in the middle of travelling and plans to head east in the hope of finding a spot to relax away from the many monsters around Hyrule. He mentions a lively place where lots of people hang out, a clue to his next location. If you have another Korok seed or two, Hestu will happily expand your inventory by a further slot before disappearing.

Tears of the Kingdom Hestu’s second location – Lookout Landing, Central Hyrule

After leaving Lindor’s Brow, Hestu heads to Lookout Landing in Central Hyrule, coordinates -0224, 0060, 0018. You’ll find them next to the clothing shop not far from the underground shelter in the centre of the lookout. As Hestu explains, they chose Lookout Landing because it’s full of people and safe.

Talk to Hestu and you can exchange Korok seeds for slots. Hestu appears to stay put here and there’s no limit on the number of slots you can get as long as you have the requisite Korok seeds. Note that each extra slot for each stash type – weapon, bow, and shield – requires an extra seed. For example, slot one costs one seed, slot two costs two seeds, slot three costs three seeds, and so on.

Tears of the Kingdom Hestu’s third location – Korok Forest, Central Hyrule

We’ve heard rumblings on Hestu springing up in a third location – the Korok Forest. You’ll need to help the Deku Tree by defeating the Gloom Hands in its roots, after which Hestu will set up shop near the Musanokir Shrine. We’ll jump back in and update this guide once we’ve tracked Hestu down in the Korok Forest.

That covers all the Tears of the Kingdom Hestu locations we’ve tracked down so far. To help you get around Hyrule, check out Tears of the Kingdom Skyview Tower locations and Tears of the Kingdom stable locations guides.
