Sony is finally set to release the long-anticipated Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 sequel. Fans have been wanting to see the next chapter ever since the credits rolled back in 2018, and now it’s here with a bunch of new characters. The graphics look better than ever, and here you will find the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 voice actors cast and face model for Peter Parker, Mary Jane, Miles, Kraven, and other characters already confirmed to avoid spoilers.

The Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Metacritic score doesn’t dethrone DC’s best superhero-rated video game of all time, but final impressions confirm Insomniac’s sequel is still another PlayStation masterpiece. In our Spider-Man 2 review, we bestowed the game with a perfect 10/10. This is because it has a captivating and emotional story compounded by exhilarating gameplay that, say it with me now, makes you truly feel like Spider-Man.

Both gameplay and story are king, and the narrative is expertly delivered by exceptional performances from the game’s cast. The voice actors are all spectacular, meanwhile, the face models provide the basis for each of the character designs.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Peter Parker face model and voice actor

The face model for Peter Parker in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is New York Models affiliate, Ben Jordan. John Bubniac was the original face of Peter Parker back in 2018, but he was replaced by Ben Jordan in Spider-Man Remastered and Miles Morales. Many fans remain split over the new look as some prefer the original design whereas others have come to love the new Pete.

Whether you prefer the old or new Peter Parker, the original Spider-Man is once again brought to life vocally by Yuri Lowenthal. He has nearly 800 credits to his IMDB portfolio as of writing, with one of his most recent roles being Smoke in Mortal Kombat 1. He was Peter in Spider-Man 2018 and Spider-Man Miles Morales, and he also had a cameo in Across the Spiderverse as ‘Insomniac Spider-Man’.

Mary Jane face model and voice actor

Perhaps the most divisive face model leading up to the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is Mary Jane. Yes, fans remain split over Peter Parker, but the online war between webheads has mostly calmed down. Now MJ is the main punching bag with some claiming Insomniac has made her ‘ugly,’ with web crawlers particularly roasting a new Peter and MJ screenshot that makes her look like his mother.

Many online Spider-Men are convinced that the face model is new, but Insomniac Community Manager, James Stevenson, confirmed it remains Stephanie Tyler Jones. MJ does admittedly look different to the young reporter in 2018, but this is because of a new haircut combined with advancements in graphics and face capturing. Not only that, but the character has aged just like the real inspiration.

As for voice, the vocals once again belong to Laura Bailey. This is a voice actor synonymous with controversial female characters as arguably her most famous role is Abby from The Last of Us Part 2. Fortunately, MJ isn’t the kind to kill a beloved protagonist with a golf club.

Miles Morales face model and voice actor

The face model for Miles Morales in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is also his voice actor, Nadji Jeter. The young American actor was Miles in the 2018 release as well as the Miles Morales installment that followed in 2020. While MJ has a voice actor from The Last of Us Part 2, the Sony connection continues as Nadji Jeter was Sam in TLOU Part 1.

You get to play as both Peter and Miles during Insomniac’s sequel. There is no multiplayer co-op at all, but you can switch between Miles and Peter whenever you want while roaming the open-world of crime-ridden New York City. Both come with unique, individual abilities, as well as snazzy, iconic suits from the movies and comic books.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Kraven face model and voice actor

Similar to Miles Morales, the face model and voice actor for Kraven are the same. Jim Pirri has repeatedly confirmed his involvement with the game over on his Instagram account. He was the voice of Birgir in God of War Ragnarok, and he was also the voice of Captain Benjamin Mathius in the Dead Space Remake. Perhaps most famous of all though, he played the role of Sergei in Friends as a comical date for Phoebe in one episode.

Speaking of villains, the returning Martin Li is once again voiced by Stephen Oyoung. Again, he is the face of Mr. Negative, too. In addition, Erica Lindback again lends her likeness and vocals to the famous femme fatale, Black Cat.

Harry Osborn

The voice actor and face model for Harry Osborn in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is Graham Phillips. If you happen to be a fan of the television series Good Wife, you’ll recognize him as Zach Florrick as he played the character in 78 episodes between 2009 to 2016. Harry Obsorn makes his debut in the Insomniac Games universe after he was previously missing on a supposed trip around Europe.

Tony Todd as Venom

Venom’s gravelly and spine-chilling voice would undoubtedly have been challenging to portray. Fortunately, Insomniac Games hit it out of the park by casting Tony Todd as the psychopathic symbiote. Throughout his storied career, Todd has also played several prominent roles in works like Candyman, The Flash, and Dota: Dragon’s Blood, where he voiced the titular antagonist, Zoom, and Slyrak, respectively.

Erica Lindbeck as Black Cat

Though not as prominently featured as some of her other villainous counterparts, Black Cat remains one of the most important characters in the game. Her quiet lethality and feline tendencies are further bolstered by the wonderful voice of Erica Lindbeck, who has also played Misty in Cyberpunk 2077, Peppermint in Hi-Fi Rush, and Futaba in Persona 5.

Brian Bloom as Taskmaster

Brian Bloom also returns to the sequel’s cast list as the voice of the enigmatic Taskmaster. Bloom has also played prominent roles in several games, like Captain America in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, Jo Sawashiro in Yakuza: Like a Dragon, and Jess in Sunset Overdrive.

Jacqueline Pinol as Rio Morales

Miles’s mother, Rio Morales, is once again voiced by Jacqueline Pinol. Aside from her role as the teenage crimefighter’s guardian, Pinol has also had roles in American Horror Story and Bosch as Dr. Reyes and Detective Julie Espinosa, respectively.

Ike Amadi as Prowler

Like most of the cast, Prowler’s voice actor should be familiar to those who played Spider-Man: Miles Morales. This is because Ike Amadi again voices the purple-and-black-clad anti-hero. In addition to his work as the Prowler, Amadi has also voiced General Shao in Mortal Kombat 1, Commander Kibwe Ikande in Starfield, and Earthbreaker Groon in The Legend of Vox Machina.

Tara Platt as Yuri Watanabe

Tara Platt, who plays the conflicted police detective Yuri Watanabe, is one of the most well-known talents on this list. The gifted voice actress has played roles in games like Fire Emblem: Three Houses, World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, and Guilty Gear: Strive. In these entries, she played Edelgard, Ysera, and Millia Rage, respectively.

Darin De Paul as J. Jonah Jameson

Those looking forward to hearing the voice of J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson may be disappointed at his absence from this list. However, Darin De Paul does a fantastic job of capturing the frantic and boisterous energy of the Daily Bugle editor-in-chief. De Paul is also no slouch when it comes to voicing video game characters, as he’s played Nicolaus Slayton in Starfield, Founder Ford in Remnant II, and Reinhardt in Overwatch 2.

Stephen Oyoung as Martin Li

Stephen Oyoung, like his counterparts, returns to the sequel’s cast to voice Mr. Negative himself, a.k.a Martin Li. Over the years, Stephen Oyoung has had several video game credits for playing roles that include Wallace in Remnant II, Jason Todd in Gotham Knights, and KK in Ghostwire: Tokyo.

Griffin Puatu as Ganke Lee

Miles’s best friend and confidant, the reliable Ganke Lee, is voiced by Griffin Puatu in Spider-Man 2. Puatu has notably had several roles in recent video games, like Bosch in Street Fighter 6, Seadall in Fire Emblem: Engage, and Nini and Novus Nemo in Loop8.

That covers the entire Spider-Man 2 cast and voice actors involved in creating the game. For more, check out our pages for the Spider-Man 2 PS4 compatibility, the Spider-Man 2 PC port, and the identity of Venom in Spider-Man 2.
