1. Baile Style Oricorio (Fire / Flying Type)

The Baile Style Oricorio is a Fire / Flying Type Pokemon that you can find in the South Province (Area Three). They are most commonly spawned in a mountainous area. Baile Style Oricorio is weak to Rock- and Water-type attacks. Therefore, make sure you have Pokemon like Glimmora,  Klawf, and Quaquaval in your party before encountering it.

Furthermore, this type of Oricorio is usually resistant to Pokemon with types Bug, Steel, Fire, Grass, Ice, Fairy, and Fighting. Also, being a Flying-type Pokemon, you should note that Oricorio is immune to Ground-type abilities.

2. Pom-Pom Style Oricorio (Electric / Flying Type)

The second type of Oricorio you will encounter is the Pom-Pom Style. You can find one in the Los Platos area near Mesagoza city. It has Electric and Flying-type attacks. By the end of Victory Road path, when you encounter the Elite Four, you have to fight a Pom-Pom Style Oricorio as it’s one of the Pokemon used by Larry of the Elite Four.

Pom-Pom Style Oricorio is generally weak to Rock and Ice-type attacks. Therefore, Glimmora, Glimmet, and Baxcalibur are its best counter. Furthermore, Pom-Pom Style Oricorio is resistant to Flying, Steel, Electric, Fighting, Bug, and Grass-type Pokemon, while being completely immune to Ground-type attacks.

3. Pa’u Style Oricorio (Psychic / Flying Type)

Another type of Oricorio you can get in Scarlet and Violet is a Psychic and Flying-type called Pa’u Style Oricorio. You can buy a Pink Nectar from Delibird Presents and use it to change any of your Oricorio into the Pa’u Style one.

The weaknesses of Pa’u Style are Ghost and Dark-type abilities, so Pokemon like Hounstone, Ceruledge, Mabosstif, and Kingambit are the best counter to it. Although, you must keep in mind the Resistance of Pa’u Style Oricorio to Fighting, Psychic, Bug, and Grass while being completely immune to Ground-type moves.

4. Sensu Style Oricorio (Ghost / Flying Type)

The final category of Oricorio you can find in your game is Sensu Style, which has a mix of Ghost- and Flying-type moveset. Just like Pa’u Style, you can get a Nectar from Delibird Presents to turn any type of Oricorio into Sensu Style. Bear in mind that you need the Sensu Nectar to get this specific type on your Oricorio.
