Where To Find Charcadet In Pokemon Scarlet And Violet?

Charcadet is a rare spawn that can be found within various different areas of the Paldea Region. So far, it has been sighted in the different areas of the South, East, and West Provinces. However, the most common spawn spots for Charcadet, especially in the early game, are the South Province (Area Three) and West Province (Area One).

Due to the small size of Charcadet, it may very easily elude players when in the wild. Therefore, make sure you look out for its fiery red flames and charcoal-burnt body. Once you do find it, however, defeating and catching it wouldn’t be an easy feat. It may be over-leveled for you in the early game, but if you can counter its Flash Fire and Flame Body, you can subdue it in no time.

How To Evolve Charcadet Into Armarouge?

Armarouge is a Pokemon exclusive to the Pokemon Scarlet version. While you can’t directly find Armarouge in the wild, you can evolve your Charcadet Into Armarouge. However, to carry out this evolution, you’ll need to have access to Auspicious Armor. Follow the steps described next to acquire Auspicious Armor and evolve your baby Charcadet:

  1. Get to the city of Zapipico and meet an NPC that has a “Fancy a trade?” text bubble on its head.
  2. Trade in 10 Bronzor Fragments to him to get an Auspicious Armor in return.
  3. If you don’t have 10 Bronzor Fragments, you can farm them by fighting Bronzor in the Ruins of Paldea.
  4. Once you obtain Auspicious Armor, go to your inventory, select Auspicious Armor and click on the “Use this item” button.
  5. Choose Charcadet as the Pokemon to use the item on.
  6. Your Charcadet will be evolved to Armarouge.

Armarouge is a strong warrior-like Pokemon in Scarlet. It can unleash flashy fire attacks by manipulating fire with its psychic abilities. However, its special move, Armor Cannon, takes the spotlight. Armor Canon shoots a blazing projectile that deals an immense amount of damage to its foes, making it a handy Pokemon to have during battles.

  1. Get to the city of Zapipico and meet an NPC that has a “Fancy a trade?” text bubble on its head.
  2. Trade in 10 Sinistea Chips to him to get a Malicious Armor in return.
  3. If you don’t have 10 Sinistea Chips, you can farm them by fighting Sinistea found in the Ruins and near some cities and towns of Paldea.
  4. Once you obtain Malicious Armor, go to your inventory, select Malicious Armor and click on the “Use this item” button.
  5. Choose Charcadet as the Pokemon to use the item on.
  6. Your Charcadet will be evolved to Ceruledge.

Ceruledge wields a set of swords infused with fire and ghost energy. These blades get even bigger during battles, which can slash enemies effectively to steal their life energy.
