Need to know how to find and catch Quivern in Palworld? This Dragon-type Pal is a fantastic addition to your team and base if you know where to find them.
There is no denying that Palworld features an immersive map brimming with diverse creatures. Among these unique creatures is Quivern, a Dragon-type Pal that you can catch and use as a mount. If you’re looking to catch this pure white dragon in this guide we’ll dive into everything you need to know about how to find and capture Quivern.
Where To Find Quivern in Palworld
In the early game, you can encounter a level 23 Quivern boss in the Sealed Realm of the Winged Tyrant dungeon. You can find this Alpha Boss Fight in the northern Spawn Points of the map. The Quivern boss is located at coordinates -256, -122.
However, reaching your destination won’t be easy as you’ll encounter plenty of Syndicate poachers and Free Pal Alliance rangers that block your path. On top of that, the boss fight can be difficult if you are not prepared enough.
Apart from encountering Quivern as a boss fight, you can find these Pals in the wild as well. To find Quivern in the wild simply head to Wildlife Sanctuary to the west. This Sanctuary is a large structure across the ocean so you’ll need a flying or swimming Pal to access this region. That said, the wild Quivern you’ll find here will be of a higher level and won’t be easy to catch either.
How To Catch Quivern in Palworld
To catch Quivern you simply need to death it and capture it in your Pal Sphere. However, before you can capture it you need to bring its health low enough to use the Pal Sphere, which will not be easy considering it is a level 23 Pal.
Since Quivern is a Dragon-type, they are known to be weak to ice attacks. So, if you are looking to capture Quivern you should bring Ice-type Pals like Sweepa, Swee, and Reindrix with you in the battle.
That said, before jumping in a battle against this Pal, make sure your level is similar to Quivern and you have the guns you need. If you want to capture Quivern, remember to not kill it, otherwise, you can’t capture it in your Pal Sphere.
What Items Does Quivern Drop – Quivern item drops
Once you defeat or capture this boss Pal, you can obtain the High Quality Pal Oil item. This is an uncommon item in Palworld that is used in crafting Polymer.
Apart from Quivern, other Pals that drop High-Quality Pal Oil are Relaxaurus, Woolipop, Elpidran, Grintale, Mamorest, Flambelle, Digitoise, and Dumud.
What are Quivern’s Weaknesses?
As a Dragon-type Pal, Quivern is naturally weak to ice attacks. So, if you are looking to capture or take down a Quivern, make sure to bring Ice-types Pals like Sweepa, Swee, and Reindrix in the battle to support you. That said, once you acquire Quivern, it would be a great support when you are up against Dark-type Pals.
Don’t use Dark-type
Since Quivern is a Dragon Pal, it’s strong against Dark-types and Dark attacks. Don’t use a Dark-type Pal against Quivern, like Tombat or Leezpunk or you’ll be at a disadvantage.
