Wondering how much will MW3 cost? Now that Activision’s expansion-turned-standalone entry is nearing its launch, it’s a question likely on many a potential player’s lips. With this being another AAA installment in the storied CoD series, its cost remains in the same region as its premium-priced counterparts.
There’s a lot to expect from MW3 that goes beyond the 16 remastered MW2 maps. You can expect an open-world zombies mode for the first time, the return of Makarov in the highly anticipated campaign as well as a whole new multiplayer experience. For now, let’s talk about how much it’ll cost you to play the game.
How much will MW3 cost?
The Standard Edition of MW3 will cost $69.99 while the Vault Edition will be available for $99.99. There’s also a new Modern Warfare 3 Collector’s Box Edition which includes physical collectibles like a metallic poster and collector pins.
Much like the previous series entry, the standard version will similarly be a cross-gen bundle as well. This allows you to play it on either the PS4/PS5 or Xbox One/Xbox Series S|X as long as you connect your Activision account across different console families. However, since this is the cheapest variant, those that purchase it will only be getting the base game.
