MW3 (2023) editions – which edition should you buy

Wondering which MW3 edition you should buy? We’ve got you covered. Modern Warfare 3 is on the way and while many players are still having plenty of fun with MW2, it’ll most likely feel like a ghost town in November. 

This means if you’re one of the many players who are already looking for the right MW3 edition to buy later this year, we’ll be telling you all about them. But first, you should get yourself familiar with the MW3 characters list to see who is returning in November. 

All MW3 editions 

Activision will release two MW3 editions on November 10 which you can buy – Standard Edition and Vault Edition.  The Standard Edition will cost $69.99 while the Vault Edition will be available for $99.99. 

During the recent Shadow Siege Reveal Event in MW2, it was revealed that pre-ordering the Vault Edition of Modern Warfare 3 will give you early access to Open Beta, and early access to the much-anticipated Campaign. 

And that’s not all, you’ll also be rewarded with the following Vault Edition Bonus content: 

• Nemesis Operator Pack: 4 Operator Skins (Price, Ghost, Warden, and Makarov) 
• Two Weapon Vaults
• Blackcell + 30 bonus tier skips: includes Battle Pass (Season 1)
• Soap Operator Pack (can instantly be used in Modern Warfare II, Warzone and MW3)

Which MW3 edition should you buy?

It depends on what you want out of the game and how much you’re willing to spend on it. The Standard Edition is clearly the cheaper option and is the base game that the majority of players will purchase once the game is released. 

However, if you’re looking to get your hands on the game ahead of other players as well as get the bonus content, then you should get the Vault Edition of the game. So whichever edition of the game you choose to buy is entirely up to you.
