✓ At a glance
  • The game launched with 16 regular maps, reworked from MW2 (2009).
  • Each Season brought new maps and modes.
  • Season 4 brings four new maps – Tokyo, Paris, Incline, and Das Gross.

Season 4 is almost here with even more maps to MW3’s library of well-designed spaces. Many of Modern Warfare 3’s launch maps will be familiar to players who grew up with the older Modern Warfare titles. Maps tend to support specific playstyles more than others, encouraging you to experiment to find the best equipment and tactics for the job. Here’s what you need to know about every map in the game.

Every multiplayer map in the game

Modern Warfare 3 had 16 regular maps and a few large-scale maps at launch. All returning maps are reworked from the ground up from their original MW2 (2009) variants. More maps have been released across Sledgehammer Games’ seasonal updates, the latest being Season 4 on May 29, 2024. While most of these reworked maps retain their layouts, some have extra routes that players can take advantage of. Here’s a look at all the maps, broken down by season.

Season 4 maps

Here are all the new maps that drop on May 29, 2024:

  • Tokyo (at launch)
  • Paris (at launch)
  • Incline (mid-season)
  • Das Gross (variant, mid-season)
