Henry and Hans Capon are back for a second stint to trudge and scrap their way across 15th-century Bohemia, sauced to the gills and ready to take on all the twists and turns Kingdom Come Deliverance 2’s knotty main story has to offer. As with any good RPG, KCD2 is stacked with side quests and optional tasks and activities, promising at least a hundred hours of playtime for the most dedicated players, if not more. To help you get a sense of the journey ahead, we’ve pulled together a Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 mission list.

Main quests

Main quests form the story and the narrative thread that will carry you from the calmer environs of Trosky as destitute Henry to the bustling city of Kuttenberg to avenge your parents’ brutal slaughter.

Side quests

Side quests are optional tangents that recount some of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2’s more interesting stories. Expect to graffiti cows, solve lovers’ tiffs, stealth your way into heavily guarded areas, and solve more than a few disputes between the colourful inhabitants of Bohemia. The side quest list is currently incomplete and we’ll be updating it periodically as we delve deeper into Warhorse’s sequel.

Tasks

Tasks are small optional activities you can take on to explore the more obscure underbelly of Bohemia. These range from bouts of fisticuffs at the local miller’s or tavern, getting to the bottom of folkloric tales, smithing knock-off weapons, and tracking down roaming sheep, among other things.

Our suggested starting quest order

You will likely go through most Trosky quests before venturing to Kuttenberg. After finishing the Laboratores main quest, you’ll be free to take Henry around the Trosky region before the wedding starts. This will give you the chance to help either Radovan or Krezyl with their work. If you’re looking to get armour and weapons, you should help Radovan, as well as take back Pebbles at the stables. If you decide to help Krezyl, you’ll get a set of stealthy clothes that will be useful if you plan to take Henry on a more nefarious route. Don’t forget to pick up Mutt as well during these questlines.

Only after getting all of this done should you consider triggering the start of the Wedding Crashers quest. After that, you can finish off the remaining Trosky quests. Once that’s done, you can carry on to Kuttenberg, which allows you a more open-ended way of exploring. We suggest taking on side quests and tasks as you come across them, while keeping an eye on the main quest objectives.
