Finding Marika isn’t too much trouble, but getting her to return to the Nomad’s Camp is a whole other matter. She wants Henry to retrieve the Voivode’s amulet to help Bohush, her wounded lover. The Voivode is reluctant to hand it over and asks you to save his son Tibor, who is being held captive in Semine in the south of the Trosky Region.
Easier said than done as the man is hard to track down let alone free. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to rescue Tibor in the Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Miri Fajta side quest.
How to free Tibor in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
To kick things off, you’ll want to head to Semine and talk to the villagers there to glean as much information as you can about the whereabouts of the captive. In particular, there’s a hired maid wearing a yellow dress that hangs out near the northwesternmost house on the edge of Semine.
Talk to her and she’ll explain that she’s heard that the saddler’s hand carried him off to the Saddler’s house on the edge of the village. Lucky for us, this drastically reduces the size of the search area to the Saddler’s hold in the southwest of the village.
You can go into the courtyard of the Saddler’s place and talk to him or his hands, but they won’t give you much in the shape of clues and will act rather aggressively. Instead, go down the path to the east and take a sharp right after the last building. Look inside the first window on your right and you’ll see Tibor tied up. Hop through the window and untie Tibor by going to his hands tapping the ‘Free Tibor’ button prompt. He’ll jump out of the window. Follow him into the nearby forest and talk to him. He’ll give you details about where to find Gejaz’s body.
Untie Gejza’s body
Head to the woodcutter’s camp marked on the map to the west of Semine. Talk to the Foreman to arrange untying the body. You can choose to buy the body or convince the Foreman to let you take the body by using persuasion or speech. You’ll find Gejza’s body tied to a tree at the edge of the forest to the west of the woodcutter’s camp.
Bring Gejza to the burial site
Pick up the body and haul it to the burial site as marked on your map. It’s to the southwest of the woodcutter’s camp and shouldn’t take too long to reach even while hauling the body. Drop the body into the grave dug by Tibor. After a short funeral, you’ll return to the camp. It turns out the Voicode can’t give you the amulet and Marika has stolen a letter of safe conduct, crucial to the nomad’s survival as a free people. If you talk to Aranka at the camp, she’ll suggest offering the Voivode a wager to get the amulet as the man is a bit of a gambler.
Make a bet with the Voivode for the amulet
From here, you have options. You can talk to Voivode to set up the wager, but he’ll still request that you get the letter first. If you don’t agree to it, you’ll still need to head back to Marika in the cave to get the letter. If you want to please everyone, you’ll want to accept the bet.
Return to Marika, drive the wolves away, and then hand over the bandages and herbs from Aranka for Bohush. Next, ask for the letter. When Marika asks Henry to promise to not simply hand over the letter, select ‘I swear’ to get the location of the letter. Head northeast of the cave and you’ll find the letter in the hollow of a tree near a spring.
Make your way back to the Nomad’s Camp and talk to the Voivode. Select ‘I’ve got the letter, let’s make the wager’ then ‘Let’s make the wager!’ You’ll then need to compete in horse riding and fistfighting. There’s virtually no chance to win the horse race, but you should be able to beat Tibor in the fistfighting, bringing you to a third round of Dice against the Voivode himself. Beat him and he’ll bring the amulet to Marika in the cave. Things work themselves out and Marika returns to the camp. After a short cutscene, you’ll wrap up the Miri Fajta side quest.
