After a raucous launch party at the Kingfisher Bathhouse, Betty drafts you in to help her land the title of City Bathhouse, which will drastically cut down on the taxes she’ll have to pay out. Easier said than done though because Kuttenberg’s other bathhouse owner, Adam, is bribing councillor Jerome Naaz to land the title.

Betty wants you to visit the City Bathhouse to obtain some juicy details about Councillor Naaz and spoil his next visit with some good ol’ sabotage to make him change his mind about Adam and elevate the Kingfisher as the city’s leading bathhouse. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to complete the Ill Repute side quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.

As the bathhouse wenches about Councillor Naaz

After picking up the quest from Betty at the Kingfisher, make your way over to the City Bathhouse in the southwest of Kuttenberg. Once there, you’ll want to talk to three bathhouse workers, as follows. For most of them you’ll need to either pass a skill check or pay them for the details. Either works.

  • Meaty Mary – Naaz keeps a cask of exclusive wine in the bathhouse pantry. She’ll also tell you he doesn’t like herbs, especially Chamomile Brew.
  • Katchka – Naaz had his bath tub upstairs changed due to a flea infestation.
  • Little Lida – She won’t reveal much unless you find her a pretty dress.

Find something infested with fleas

To get something infested with fleas, you’ll need to talk to one of the beggars in Kuttenberg. Many of them are understandably affronted when you ask for a flea infested garment, but that will tell you the location of flea-ridden rag in exchange for some groschen. You’ll find him on the northern side of the city’s main church. Check the map image above for the exact location. Pay up the 25 groschen and head over to the encampment in the Cobbler’s Quarter as marked on your map. Go to the corner at the back of the camp and open the sack to find the flea-ridden blanket

Make your way back to the bathhouse. Climb the stairs to the second floor and go into the bath room on the right. Naaz’s tub is at the back-left of the room, decked out with ornate drapes. Make sure no one is looking then pour the fleas.

Pour Chamomile Brew into the councillor’s cask of wine

Make sure you have some Chamomile Brew in your inventory or make some if needed. Any quality will do. Head up to the second floor of the bathhouse, wait for the coast to be clear, then lockpick the door on the left at the top of the stairs. Go through and then lockpick to the door on the right to reach the pantry. The casket is on the left as you enter resting on a set of wooden legs. Pour the Chamomile Brew into the wine.

How to get pretty dress for Little Lida

Any old dress won’t do here – you’ll need a Noblewoman’s Cotehardie. You have two options to get a dress for Little Lida. You can either buy one from a tailor – there’s one to the north of the bathhouse that will sell you a dress. Alternatively, you can steal a dress from one of the chests in the bathhouse’s boarding rooms on the third floor.

Go up the stairs to the second floor, then through the door on your left. Lockpick the door straight ahead of you, then rob the chest of draws immediately on the right as you enter. Inside, you’ll find a Noblewoman’s Cotehardie. Find Little Lida and hand over the dress. She’ll reveal that the councillor enjoys a special oil in his baths. Adam locks the oil up in his room upstairs – a little bottle with a cork like perfume with colourful flowers painted on it.

Steal the fragrant oil they add to the councillor’s bath

You’ll find the fragrant oil in Adam’s room at the top of the bathhouse. Take the stairs up to the second then go through the door on the left, then up the wooden stairs to the top level. Watch out for Adam as he tends to roam in and out of the area during the day.

When you reach the top floor, lockpick the door on the right and head through. Lockpick the chest of draws on the right and loot the fragrant oil inside.

Return to Betty

Make your way back to the Kingfisher and report back to Betty to let her know what you’ve been up to. She’ll have another task for Henry: talk to master tailor Tuchmacher, a councillor, to convince him to side with Betty.

Gain Councillor Tuchmacher’s support

Head to Tuchmacher’s tailor shop in the center of Kuttenberg as marked on the map. Talk to him and select the ‘there’s coin at stake’ dialogue option. Tuchmacher agrees to give Betty his vote but only if you fight a duel in his name. Due to some sketchy rules, you can only fight with a mace, so make sure you have one before setting off with the tailor for the duel.

Win the duel on Tuchmacher’s behalf

The fight takes place outside of town. Make sure to remove any armor and equip a mace. The fight isn’t too difficult, just make sure to block and dodge any direct attacks as without armor they’ll take a big chunk out of your health. Talk to Tuchmacher after winning the fight then report back to Betty.

Wait till the council convenes

Give it a day or two then talk to Betty. Thanks to your efforts, the council voted in favour of the Kingfisher, making it the municipal bathhouse. As a reward, you’ll get free use of the bathhouse’s services. And, with that you’ll have wrapped up the Ill Repute side quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
